I had this with my first blaze and they sent me a new one. I got it today and still nothing. Everything is connection and syncing but will not do the notifications.

Notifications just plain do not work with the Galaxy S8. This is a known problem. Fitbit doesn't care. If you have the Blaze in "always connected" mode, it also drains the battery very quickly.

4 days now and my s8 isn't connecting to my blaze even tho it's paired. Still can't receive notifications on my blaze

As mentioned, this is known issue in which our engineers are working. Your patience will be much appreciated while they find a solution for it. In the meantime, I recommend taking a look at the My Tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android App) post and follow the instructions provided there.

Is it being worked on, or not? I wish we could get a definitive answer. At this point the Galaxy S8 has been on the market for 6 months. It seems to me that if this was a priority, it would have been fixed already.

Is fitbit actively working on this?? When do you think this issue will be resolved?? I've had this problem for over a month! I finally quit using my blaze. Something needs to done ASAP

I just got a new blaze and notifocation is not working at my Galaxy S8 and it is very disappointing. I am so glad you guys are working hard with this issue! Please let me have a good news in a few days.

I think they probably have no clue what the issue is, so in that other thread they just threw the ball in samsungs court for a fix. We're talking the second best selling phone in the world, and can't get a fix on these issues! Syncs are terribly slow (and that's even if it completes it without it displaying an exclamation point cause there was a problem), battery life sucks, can't get notifications, can't pair to the phone for exercise ( says phone not found, even though its connected as blaze classic)! and all they ever want to tell you is to try their troubleshooting steps!!!

I just got my Blaze today and notifications aren't working. Had I known this was an ongoing issue with the S8 I wouldn't have purchased a new watch.
Is this still being worked on? Or should I return the watch?

They (fitbit) say they are working on it but I'm also told that samsung has to fix the issue (which I emailed them about and all I got as a response was try these steps and if it doesn't work factory reset your phone). So clearly samsung and fitbit have no idea how to fix it and each one is blaming the other. I'd say that it is totally up to you to return your watch. I really don't think a solution is going to be available anytime soon as this has been going on for a few months now

This is encouraging... Can anybody tell if the abnormal battery drain is fixed? Would love to switch back to always connected mode so I don't have to sync manually.

Mine just became half only in 5 hours ..
