Can't setup my Blaze

I just got my Fitbit Blaze and am trying to set it up but it keeps saying it needs to be charged so I put it on the charger but I can't tell if its charging because it just has the set up icon on the screen I'm not sure what I should do or if it's even working. Please help.

Hello @Lexi92, welcome to the forum.

The way to tell if the Fitbit is charging is by the slight vibration you will feel when you plug it in.  If you notice a second vibration it has disconnected.

Let us know how it goes,  it should only take 30-60 minutes to charge. I stiffest using your phones charging block.

A warm welcome to the Community @Lexi92 and @Rich_Laue thanks for stopping by.

You are going to see the fitbit.com/setup message until you paired your Blaze. It takes 1-2 hours to fully charge a tracker, if you charged your tracker during this time, you just need to follow the instructions provided in this post to set it up.

Let me know the outcome. Woman Happy

Was running in circles. Setup said charge battery. Battery wouldn't charge.
Have contacted Fitbit and they are replacing unit. Hope the new one works.

Those are great news @Edith7, I am glad to hear that you will be receiving a replacement device. At the moment of receiving it, you can follow these steps to set it up:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue.
