Clock Faces Information Post

Hey everyone! Screenshot 2016-03-04 10.25.25.png

Now that Blaze is finding its way into the hand of our users, we thought we'd provide a bit more information regarding clock faces, and how you can interact with your Blaze in different ways! Here's the run down of the four default clock faces:

Original:

The time is shown in analog format using an hour-hand and minute-hand. Those dots that go around the circumference of the watch area indicate minutes of the hour. The step icon at the top of the screen is the primary statistic, which is displayed in the progress dial as well (the circle surrounding the clock). The icon at the bottom of the clock is your stat cycle, where you can tap the display to cycle through all of your primary stats for the day as well.

Flare:

Flare consists of 3 main elements: time, date, and activity level. The Flare on the outside will follow the current minutes to the hour while also displaying the activity for the hour. The more you move in the hour, the further out the Flare will extent. Click here for more details.

Zone

This clock shows the time over a color-changing background that corresponds to your heart rate. The HR Stat, HR zone and date can be toggled with this clock face, meaning you can cycle through and see what you want to see.

Pop

With Pop, your clock-face will consist of 4 main elements: time, steps, HR, and calories. While your heart rate icon on this screen does not indicate HR zone (the HR circle is always full), both the steps and calories statistic will update to be reflective of your step/calorie burn goal for the day!

We hope this helps. As always, questions and feedback are welcome and appreciated. If you'd like to see new clock faces (or changes to existing ones), please add your vote/comments to this Feature Request with specific changes you'd like to see.

Blaze was created to be an activity tracker, with some smart watch features.
The Apple is a smart watch, with some activity tracking, An Apple Tech told me the AW has to many things that need fixing, and not stable enough. He would not personsly recommend buying, and i would not ask

Can I download additional watch faces?

The flare watch face represents your activity in the last hour. It gets bigger and brighter as you're more active. We are planning to detail more about each clock. You can see more info on each clock by tapping on them too.

@prashantwagle there are only 4 watch faces available at this time and they are all selectable from within the app settings or your settings on the web dashboard

@racertempo I couldn't agree with you more. This is a fitness tracker. No real comparison to a smart watch.

I just puchased my Blaze today (also have Charge) and I am experiencing trouble getting my clock face (Original) to look the way Emerson has below.

Can anyone help me?IMG_6599.JPG

It will look like the photo once you have achieved your primary goal for the day.. In this case steps

@SunsetRunner I guess since  I had met my goal of 12,500 with my Charge (before I got Blaze) I will have to wait until tomorrow to see if it is working correctly.

Thanks!

I would think it would sync and show your progress.. What does it look like at the moment?

It still showed solid cirlces with my step count at 17, 599 (which would be both Charge and Blaze). I changed the face to be Flare that way I can tell exactly what time it is. With Original you could not see the minutes (or I can't).

My clock face has disappeared entirely.  It only shows "Today" and the fitbit logo. How do I restore the clock?

The solid green circle appears after you achieve your goal.

I have had this issue happen a lot. I just let the watch resync and it comes back

I'd recommend a reboot and a re-sync of your device @layla

I wanted to reply to add my suggestion for some more options for clock faces.  I like the analog style, but it would be nice to have the option of numbers or even the dots on the watch face after accumulating steps.  I can read it without but the indications for the hour make it quicker to tell what time it is.

The pop clock face on my blaze looks like it's cut off. It's difficult to read the time

@Jesqueda  That is the way the POP face was designed - not a defect.

Well a lot of people are complaining. I highly doubt it's a change that is so difficult that it will take months to fix. Just reduce the font size

But it was designed with some of the numbers cut off.  If you look, the sides of the last 2 numbers are cut off as well.
