Is your phone an S8 or S8+ by any chance? If so, there's a known issue at the moment causing battery drain issues with the Blaze.

Hi, I'm seeing exactly the same, for the last approx 10 days I have been forced to charge my blaze every two-three days instead of the 5 days I used to get.

I'm using a Sony Xperia xz premium.

Modor I use same phone and have to recharge about the same do you have all the features on even the txt alerts as I do and wondered how you lasted 10 days battery. I've only had my blaze with this phone.

Sorry if I was a bit unclear. I have had my Blaze since March, and have had between 4 and 5 days battery life. Then, starting 10 days ago the battery life dropped, and now I need to charge every 2 days

No I miss read it, do you use all the features as I do and wondered if that was why but still bad if changed over the last 10 days, had no phone updates in that time

I think I have all options enabled, but I do usually not control music with the blaze. Messages are enabled but not always working.

Same here. I have the app on Galaxy S5 and iPhone 6. Never had a problem until the last 2-3 weeks.

I've been having the same problem as many of you.   My battery life was around 4-5 days then about 1-2 weeks ago it went to barely one day.  Today it's even worse, blaze didn't even make it to 5 hours.   Seems I now own a $200 wrist band.

I haven't made any changes from when I was getting 4 days and I've tried all the things listed by fitbit.  I have a Galaxy S7.

I use mine with an Iphone 7 Plus  and for the last month  i have to charge every two days . it doesn't mater if i have notifications on or not the life is the same. I have had my blaze almost a year and it would get 4 to 5 days and i had an Iphone 6 Plus . My Wife's blaze is the same age and he battery drain has dropped drastically lately also. she has an Iphone 5se.

So going by the different phoned and same results can defently say it's the blaze.

My fitbit blaze as of today won't even charge.   It overheats without charging, it is 3 months old though.   Not impressed.

Thanks guys for sharing your comments and for your participation on the Forums!

Hope you’re enjoying your day! Sorry about the battery issues your Fitbit is having. I would suggest cleaning the charging contacts on the back of your tracker. These contacts can become obstructed by microscopic dirt or debris that prevents them from making a good connection to the charger. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to clean the charging contacts; do not scrape them with anything metal because this may damage the plating and result in corrosion. Robot wink

Then restart your Fitbit a couple of times and fully charge it. Remember to plug your charging cable into a USB port on a computer or other low-energy device. If necessary, you can use a UL-certified USB wall charger. Don't use a USB hub or battery pack to charge, and only use the charging cable that came with your tracker.

In case that your still having issues with the battery of your Fitbit tracker consider the tips on this post when you want to conserve battery life.

Keep me posted on the resolution! Cat Happy

Thank you for the information to try and clean the contacts.  Unfortunately I tried this and nothing changed.  Do i need to use any cleaning solution?  The contacts look clean.

I'm getting the same thing. The last week or so it's draining quickly. Have the S7.

I also have cleaned the contacts. I've restarted both using the "shutdown" option on the Fitbit and using the two-button reboot. Neither of those worked. When I let the battery drain to empty and then recharged the Fitbit completely, battery life improved from 4-5 hours to about 12 hours, but that's all.

Hi my issue is not to charge the Fitbit

it's that once fully charged the battery only lasts 4/5 hours!

thi only started happening 2 weeks ago. Previously I would charge once every 4:5 days!

what is going on?

How do I get this resolved as it's definitely not a dirty contact!?
