So I complete the hours with 250+ steps, with my Blaze showing the 250 steps completed and then after syncing with iphone app it now shows the hour as not completed 250+ steps??

I've also had this problem for about two months now. Lately it has been happening more often. Any updates on a fix?

Chiming in as yet another user that sees this annoying problem on a regular basis. Definitely a bug - activity log clearly shows I exceeded the hourly step goal but credit is not awarded. The only thing I've found that reliably works is exceeding the hourly step goal by at least 25 steps (though that's an arbitrary number really). Sometimes I've resorted to manually logging absurdly low walking (using steps) activities to regain the credit, but I don't like doing that.

the error between the blaze and app is still happening...the blaze gives credit for 250 steps in the hour but no matter how many times I sync the two, the app does not register the 250 steps for that hour?!

This has been happening on my Charge 2 for a few months now. Not every day, regularly enough to cause frustration with the system.
I noticed too that there is a discrepancy even within the app. If I look at the step tracker window for a given day (with the bar graph broken down by 15min intervals) all the steps for the hour in question add up to more than 250, but in the 'Hourly Activity' window that hour is shaded grey as incomplete.

@GG007 the issue never left, and wont until the cause and a fix is found, then implemented.

I've seen some people suggesting that the missing hour happens when you wait until the move reminder comes to get your steps. Got my steps for 3-4pm today between 3-3:15, as reported in the step count bar graph and on my tracker, but the hour is still marked incomplete in my dashboard both on mobile and desktop.

2 days in a row it gave me a notification saying I had so many steps left to the hour. So I got moving to get them, the blaze said I got it but then later when I checked it said I missed that hour when I know I actually got it.

I am having the same issue. It's discouraging when you know you've done your 250 steps from the hour and missues out on it turning green on the dashboard. 😔

Seriously though are you guys ever going to fix this **ahem** problem??

I think you've hit the nail on the head. When I see the dashboard has missed an hour I feel "screw it" I can't be bothered to put the effort in the rest of the day now that I won't be able to get my full set of hours. I spend a lot of my days in meetings and it takes a lot of effort to get the steps in when you have a 2 hour meeting...

I have been having the same issue, where on my blaze it displays the correct hours completing the 250+ steps yet when I sync with the app, it does not show the right amount of hours. Please fix!
This is affecting my daily steps (and 250+ steps) goal(s).
Please fix, seems the same issue is happening!

Thank you for notifying of this issue. I will try to see if I find more users experiencing the same problem to determine what is going on and also see if this is a known problem. In the meantime, I can suggest restarting your tracker by pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds and then use it as you would normally do and see if this works.

Mine is doing a kinds of weird stuff today. My food log says I was under a week but if you scroll down where you can look at what u ate previous days it says I'm over 4 days. This is very frustrating. Also wish they would change that if you want to edit your goal, it would start the day you want to change it it not reset everything youve already done.

Yes this problem will be fixed, i don't know what state it is in, but the cause needs to be first identified, a solution found, tested, beta tested, confirmed that it hasn't added problems, then it can be released.

Add me to the list of people the steps are not syncing (watch displays 8 of 8, app says 7 of 8). This always tends to happen in the last hour - as it did today - I actually had 600 steps during the hour, I even 'recorded' that hour as I was in yoga so it has the correct step count in my recorded exercise, yet steps per hour still recording I was under 250.

Any updates on this issue?
I'm having same issue today and yesterday. Blaze records 6 of 9 250+ hourly achievements and App shows 5 of 9. Each time the Blaze records
more than App.
As you suggested, I tried restarting my Blaze device, updating the app, and restarting my iPhone. Nothing has worked.

@xoowl Restarting won't help. It's a bug in either the Blaze or the app. Fitbit just doesn't really prioritize fixing bugs. You need to get some mystery number of steps MORE than 250 for the app to recognize 250, even if the Blaze recognizes 250.
