Hi @event
From the Fitbit Article:
Fitbit Blaze can store up to 30 notifications, after which the oldest are replaced as new ones come in. Notifications delete automatically after 24 hours. Your tracker can show up to 32 characters of a subject and up to 160 characters of a text message.
To manage notifications:

I think you have to wait for a
certain amount of days, 30 plus.

I have like 7 messages all from the same guy 86 days ago who kept trying to get me to talk to him. I told him off and want to delete but can’t?! Can I at least block him so he never harassed me again?

Hello @Irishlassie7, @SunsetRunner, @SunsetRunner und @Baitrunner1. Welcome to the Community. As it was correctly mentioned above, Blaze can store up to 30 notifications, after which the oldest are replaced as new ones come in. Notifications delete automatically after 24 hours. For those who are not able to delete notifications, or they constantly reappear after being deleted, I suggest that you restart your tracker: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
@SunsetRunner if you want to stop receiving notifications from certain users, you should block them on the specif app they are contacting you through. If they are contacting you through the Fitbit App you can follow this instructions: How do I delete or block Fitbit friends?
@Baitrunner1 thank your for sharing your solution.
Let me know if it worked!

Thank you for your reply @SunsetRunner, you should be able to delete a notification by opening it and swiping right, or to delete all notifications at once, you can swipe down to the bottom of your notifications and tap Clear All. Could you please confirm if you have tried with these options, and notifications are not being deleted?
If you're still having trouble, please make sure you've tried the steps mentioned here earlier as well. Let me know how the device is performing after the troubleshooting suggested. Are notifications being deleted?
Keep me posted.

Can’t get rid of the notifications but I’m more concerned about the countless msgs asking me if I’m married. Most of these are from scammers, so I would like to know how to delete them ?

Hi @Irishlassie7, @Smilez78, @SuperKris5, @SunsetRunner and @SunsetRunner. Thank you for your replies. For those who are still having the notifications on the Blaze, have you tried already restarting it? If you are concerned about messages in the app, please note that these should be deleted automatically after 30 days. Currently there's a bug, so most likely they will still appear. We have already escalated this situation, so our engineers are aware of it.
Thank you for your understanding.
