The vibration for calls and texts is rather weak. Sure would like to be able to strengthen it. Any way?

As on other trackers it's not possible to change the strength for the buzzing (alarms,..)..
Feel free to add your suggestions to the 'Feature Requests' Sub Forum, where users can vote, add comments,.. if there's a certain interest then there's a chance the developers pick it up and it'll be developed.

@signaturedoc Welcome to the forums!
At this time, there's no option for increased intensity for vibration. Please check out our Feature Request page for submitting your suggestion!

I have the same issue with the vibration. Can't feel it at all if I don't have the strap tight. Also does not notify or show phone calls.

I have the same problem. My Fitbit Charge HR was great. The vibrations were almost annoying which was great. The vibrations are so weak I can't even feel or hear the vibrations on the Blaze unless I hold the face to my cheek or ear. (Yes, the battery is fully charged and I've restarted numerous times). I couldn't even feel it when I was motionless in bed this morning. That makes the call, text and calendar notifications useless. Very disappointed because I used silent alarms on my Charge HR to wake me up and frequently thoughout the day. I've always been a huge cheerleader for Fitbit, but I'm not very happy right now.

Can feel the buzzing fine here, without needing to wear it tightly.. it can be that the buzzing component is failing.., giving a weaker signal..
Since paid for,

Hi!
I'm looking to get the Blaze soon but I have a question about the silent alarm.
I have owned both a Charge HR and a Surge (using this currently). I find that the alarm on the Surge is much weaker than that of the HR, and the Surge's alarm struggles to wake me up whereas the HR woke me up every time.
Can anyone comment on the strength of the silent alarm on the Blaze? And like the Charge HR, if you don't press any buttons, does it automatically go onto snooze mode? I don't like the way that the Surge doesn't vibrate again until you manually snooze it by pushing the lower left button.
Thanks!

Felt the alarm in the morning, though it's set to go of at the time when waking up naturally daily (fixed time), don't sleep out, prefer to go sleeping earlier then if tired earlier, but waking up at the same time.. always up before the alarm clock goes of (set up the Blaze just in case, with the phone as well).
Don't snooze anymore, though testing now..
Alarm set, it went off, and ignored to press the snooze / disable alarm option (results in 9 minutes)..
Results The alarm did go off again automatically.

Thank you! 🙂
Now to see if the vibrations are strong enough to wake from sleep..

The Blaze vibration for notifications is almost non-existent! I'm familiar with the Charge HR and the vibration for alarms was sufficient to get my attention, even wake me in the morning. But the Blaze is hardly noticeable to the point that if you are sitting still anticipating the notification, you "might" notice it vibrate, but if you are doing anything at all (driving, cooking, walking, sleeping, etc) you will not notice the vibration for timers, alarms, texts, or calendar alerts! The entire reason I upgraded to the Blaze from the Charge HR was solely for the added calendar notifications, and while it does provide calendar alerts, the notification of that alert just isn't there. It falls extremely short of what is promised!
I find that "smartwatches" have too much functionality and was really looking forward to Blaze providing the added basic notification without all the extras. It seems that no one at FitBit tested the device during development, otherwise it never would have been released this way. I'm VERY disappointed!!!

I have to agree. My Charge HR was better in this regard.

That is a bummer!! I would be frustrated too. However, I find the Blaze's vibration to be plenty alarming enough to notify me. I wonder if you got a bad device? Does yours vibrate a few times? I haven't owned anything prior to the Blaze from fitbit, so I don't have much to compare it to.

It vibrates a few times, yes. I can hear it more than I can feel it, though.

I called FitBit support to try and determine if I had a defective device or if this is functioning correctly. They said it was softer than the Charge HR. That didn't really help me, so I went back to Best Buy where I purchased it and found a salesperson that was also wearing a Blaze. It was identical to mine. I would compare it to a mosquito sitting on your wrist and flapping it's wings!

I do not have an issue with the vibration. Seems plenty for me - even woke me up from sleeping when I received a call.
Perhaps people are just more or less sensitive to the vibrations. Perhaps wearing too loosely or too tightly? Dunno.......

it is soft .. agreed there. i'm coming from the charge and charge HR.
i feel it if i'm not doing anything, but thinking about it, i bet i may miss a notification when i'm working out.
wish it were a bit stronger too.

I used the timer today and almost didn't feel it. I was hoping to use this to wake me in the morning for my runs, so I don't have to use a traditional alarm clock and wake up my girlfriend, but I'm wondering if this will even jostle me awake tomorrow morning.

I started a similar thread this morning. Your discussion indicates "solved". How is it solved? FitBit has not responded with a solution. Telling people to enter a feature request is not a sulotion!
The vibration of the Blaze is terrible and completely USELESS! I'm very disappointed with FitBit that they would release a product that doesn't work properly!
