Hey everyone,

We're excited to announce that with Blaze's newest firmware update comes five new clock faces: Moment, Circuit, Ace, Nautical, and Argyle! In addition to more options, a second-hand has finally made its appearance on each of the new analog clock faces. Once you've updated, navigate to your Blaze's device settings and check them out! Robot Very Happy

Moment.png

Moment:

Time is at the top, date in the middle, and your stats at the bottom. Heart rate will always be shown on the left, while on the right you can cycle through steps, distance, calories, or floors by tapping the screen.

Circuit.png

Circuit:

Current day is on the left, and a progress dial for a stat of your choice is on the lower right. The dial will fill up based on your progress toward your daily goal for whichever stat icon is showing (will always be a full circle for heart rate).  The white dots represent each hour. You can choose from steps, heart rate, distance, calories, floors, and even your hourly activity.

Ace.png

Ace:

Date is at the top, and your stats are on the bottom. The white ticks represent the hours. Tapping the screen will cycle between steps, heart rate, distance, calories, or floors.

Nautical.png

Nautical:

Featuring the date on the right and a 3-6-9-12 analog layout, this clock face will remain static (meaning you cannot interact with it by tapping), and does not display a daily stat.

Argyle.png

Argyle:

Date is at the top, time is in the middle, and your stats will appear at the bottom. Only one daily stat can be displayed at a time (steps, heart rate, distance, calories, or floors), and can be cycled through with a tap.

You can also still choose from the four default clock faces (Zone, Pop, Original, Flare).

Feel free to post any feedback or questions about the new clock faces. Hope you enjoy! Smiley Happy

@cassmcamacho123 a couple of thoughts I have.

The Blaze does not have a colored display.

The Blaze does not have the resalution of the newer trackers.

The Blaze does not run Fitbit OS.

The Blaze was retired a few years ago.

Yea it probably will not happen. K but their is a suggestion that could be voted on

Everyone should vote for new clock faces for the blaze

There was already a thread for voting for more clock faces. It was locked by a moderator. Not in the plans. Blaze is 4 years old and hasn't had an update in what, two years or more?

I really want new clock faces

Any way to edit the color scheme of the new clock faces? I like the new faces just like some of the old color schemes as well. Just wanted to keep the color scheme and change the face?

I agree. I understand they want/need to sell their newer watches, but it would behoove them to support their earlier products too. I need a face with big numbers because I’m over 50 now. “Pop” is excellent but doesn’t show the date and I’d like a face that includes the date. (I can’t read any of the other faces anymore without my glasses.)  I’ll make due with the available faces until Im ready to buy a whole new watch, but I will certainly take a hard look at the competition before buying Fitbit again.

They could make more faces available to their Blaze customers if they wanted to. Why would I put more of my money into a company that disrespects established customers? Alas, I fear my words fall on deaf ears.

Totally understand. I'm 74...same issues and VERY disappointed in Fitbit.
Really liked the Blaze, but clock face options were
terrible...obsolete...no imagination or clue to what users needed. Shame on
Fitbit..!!

as a previous owner of a fitbit with a need for larger displays I have to
agree with you. I have to tell you that I switched to samsung galaxy
active 2 and have all the nice dials I need and lots of options. fits
great and last days between charges. I got mine for 230. you can find
them at costco or best buy for that price quite often.

I believe it loses a lot of functionalities when not connected to a Samsung?

No it doesn't. I have a OnePlus 6T and the only thing I'm missing is to see past workouts on the watch. I can see them in the app.

Hmmm, ok - but that's good to hear! I also have a oneplus (7t) and I was put off by Huawei users saying lots of functionality was lost!

I am very happy with the samsung active 2. its look is very modern and I
use it to workout all the time. it has much much more functionality than
the fitbit.

Love my blaze. But I, like many others will not be purchasing another Fitbit product due to the obvious discontinuation of a very viable device just to highten sales of other product.

Just give us some dang clock faces..

Samsung's watches are amazing.

When it comes to clock faces, with the ability for the user to design and publish their designs.. They have an advantage over trackers that do not run the fitbit OS.

It has been 2 years since the Blaze was retired.

At the risk of sounding organicentric, I just wish they wouldn’t “retire” inorganic creations that are bought and paid for, and not in need of R&R, world travel, or other new adventures (other than maybe, oh, I don’t know, a large print clock face?)
