Hello, I got Fitbit Blaze as a birthday gift from my girlfriend three weeks ago. I was so happy when I found out that I will get them. All the time I took care of them but today morning after I was sleeping with blaze on my hand I found the screen cracked! I am very disappointed because I have had Charge HR for 14 months before and I had absolutely no problems with it all the time and it had only plastic screen and Blaze should have gorilla glass. What is wrong with my Blaze??

I woke up with a crack in mine. And they told me sorry nothing they can do

Best AnswerIt's good to know that you think Fitbit has excellent customer support! I have not been so fortunate. I got my Fitbit blaze in February 2018 and I contacted Fitbit cuntomer support for my screen cracked and they informed the unfortunately the warranty had expired. They had the talk to try and sell me a new one for 25% off on a new one. I even offered to pay for the repair. I'm done!
Best AnswerWhile I understand 25% might not be considered enough, Fitbit would be charging 75% of the trackers cost to replace a screen.
So for the same price one can get a new tracker..
Considering physical damage is not covered, I think this is a good alternative to having a repair service.
Yes there are third parties that will replace the screen.
This is about what Apple charges to fix your screen.

Best AnswerI was told they dont replace the screen and there is nothing they can do. And now the fit it isn't guarantee to be waterproof and that was the whole reason I bought this one. So I could swim in it

Sure Fitbit could offer a repair service,
So let's say they offer a repair service.
With your $199.00 watch Fitbit will most likely charge $149.00 to replace the screen. Would this be acceptable?
Note that on the cheapest AW Apple charges $199 to replace the screen. Of course depending on the model it could set the user back $899.00
However this all could have been averted by buying insurance.
Best AnswerThey replaced my pebble, no charge. It wasn’t due to me damaging it. It was a factory defect that causes a diagonal break in the glass, unrelated to user action.

Best AnswerThey sell a sub standard product with a high dollar price. So if you buy another one of these after the screen cracks and I feel sure it will then that's on you for doing that.
