I was wondering if Fitbit will be coming out with a smaller size of the Blaze? When I bought my Charge HR, one of the features that inclined me to buy this particular model vs. the Surge was due to the size, because I have a very small wrist. I see the photo of the Blaze being worn by your female model, and it still looks big for the female wrist. I would love to purchase the Blaze but again may not due to its bulkiness. Please tell me that you are going to come out with an option for a smaller size in the near future? The Apple watch has two different sizes, so I don't see why you cannot do the same.

@eyw1707 At this time, there are no plans to release a smaller Blaze. The only thing that you can get smaller is the wristbands (Small, Large, or XL) but the frame and watch face will remain the same size.

I have no actual knowledge so I may be 100% wrong but I don't see Fitbit coming out with a different size Blaze anytime soon. It's just not a good business model to release something for $200 and than a few months later turn around and release a smaller one. That would make a lot of day 1 buyers who wanted smaller angry.
I see the Blaze only getting one size unless they surprise us and offer 2 versions on launch like Apple did with the watch. But a few of the features will work better with a bigger screen like Fitstar and others. A smaller screen might not be good enough to see/do somethings.

Making a smaller version could also mean a redisgn of the internal electronics

Making a smaller version could also mean a redisgn of the internal electronics, it would be easier to design the smaller version first.

I am concerned about the size of the new Blaze. I have small wrists and am afraid it will be uncomfortable or clunky. I have tried to see it in person in several Target,Macys and BestBuy stores and no one has one in stock to actually try on or even see in person. Will it be more available in the future at stores?

I tried to go to the stores as well like Target, Best Buy, Dick's, and Sam's, and like you said they don't have a floor model to try on. It is disappointing.

Thanks for the info. I would like to be able to see the actual look of it. As mentioned on one my replies, they don't have any floor sample model of this, so I am not buying one until I see how it really looks in actual.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @tanimoore, @SunsetRunnerand @eyw1707! It's great to have you here. 😉 @tanimoore as mentioned before there are no plans to release a smaller Blaze, Fitbit recently released the Fitbit Alta, it has a slim design you can review the product manual here. It can be a really good alternative if you feel the Blaze is to bulky for you. @SunsetRunner and @eyw1707 I'm sorry to hear there are no Blaze trackers to try on. In my experience the Blaze is light and it feels great on my wrist. If you purchase the Fitbit Blaze from the Fitbit store and you don't like how it feels on your wrist you have a 45 days return period.
I'll be around if you have any questions! 😉

I have really small wrists, I wear the blaze on the 7th notch in (when using the silicone band). I wear mine on the inside of my wrist, as that is where I wear my watch typically. I like the way it looks, but will admit it looks bulkier than the smaller apple watch. It looks better with a thinner leather band, or I really love it on a cuff since those are supposed to be big. My hope is that they come out with a smaller frame in the near future since the actual device is quite a bit smaller than the frame.

I couldn't agree more. The Blaze is TOO BIG for most women. I love the look of the new Alta but really want music control from my Fitbit which Alta doesn't have. May be forced to switch to the Apple Watch even though I'd rather stick with Fitbit.

There's a suggestion on our Feature Request board for a smaller sized Blaze. For those interested, you should vote for it and add your input in the comment section!

Hi,
my wrist measures 14cm ( 5,51 inch), and I feel it comfortable. Maybe it's a little bit big, but I don't think it looks bad.....

My Charge HR has just had to be returned so I was thinking about replacing it with the Blaze but I just tried it on and it looks ridiculous on my wrists. I have fairly small wrists but I wouldn't say they are tiny as I have the small size Charge HR on the 3rd hole. I'm sure it could have been made just a little smaller and still suit men and anyone with larger wrists. I was told it was the small strap but it didn't really fit snuggly at all unlike the Charge which I have never had a problem with. Alta is another disappointment, looks lovely but no HR tracker! Really disappointing but I guess it made my decision to get another Charge HR.
