I have a Fitbit Blaze and the help section states it should show me my sleep stages, for example, light sleep, deep sleep, and REM. My app and dashboard are not showing me this information. It is only showing me time asleep, time restless, and time awake. Where do I go to see my sleep stages? I have had my Blaze for a year now and it has never shown my sleep stages.
Thank you.

FerdinandFitbit;
Mines still not working, maybe I'm a zombie and I just don't know it yet?

Thanks for getting back guys! @BlasingUser @Joedunagan
@jknight, thanks for letting me know that, that's very good to hear and hope it continues to work for you!
@BlasingUser @Joedunagan, I'm sorry it's still not working for you guys. As I mentioned, it seems that the issue is affecting some users but our team is already looking into this and hopefully we'll have a fix soon!

FWIW my sleep stages were showing this morning when I got up. Always thought it was an issue that had nothing to do with the trackers but wish fitbit would have responded in a more timely manner. All is fixed on my end now.

is this an issue with the tracker or the server?
how can the sleep mapping be re-generated on the phone?

My blaze also reverted back to the old sleep pattern.

Hi there @Doering, thanks for getting back and it's great to hear that it's working now for you! Thanks for letting us know!
@kean, good to see you in the Forums! This is for sure not an issue with your tracker itself but it seems to be something with the firmware and we hope everything to be working fine soon. Thanks for your patience!
@nonopogi, good to see you around! If you're seeing the old sleep pattern, keep an eye on how your sleep is logged for the next couple of nights. If it remains as that, there might be something going on. If Sleep Stages show up, that could mean that any requirement was not met and that's why the old sleep pattern log shows up.
Let me know if you need anything else!

Hi FerdinandFitbit,
Thanks for all your suggestions. However,
I'm sure I speak for a lot of us who continue to experience issues that we're thinking there might be issues with the trackers themselves.
I have personally tried every single suggestion on these forums to no avail. Only once have I seen the sleep stages. Since then, I've kept it fully charged, turned it off/on before going to bed, reset it just before going to bed, tightened it, moved HR from Auto to On, and Lord knows what else.... to no avail.
So, is it possible that these trackers begin to get switched out for new ones? 'Cos this is becoming ridiculous. This really shouldn't be rocket science now should it? It either works or it doesn't. If the same program is running on all trackers and 90% are fine, then the remainder need a factory recall. Don't you agree?

Hi FerdinandFitbit,
I own a Charge 2 which I am very pleased with for the following reasons:
1) I have received sleep stages since 27th March. It failed on one occasion over the night of 8th April reverting to the previous "awake, restless, asleep" software. The next night sleep stages returned and I have not experienced any further issues.
2) I have received notifications to move every day without fail since purchase.
3) I have checked the heart rate monitoring with my Polar chest strap and found my Charge 2 to be accurate.
4) I receive 7 days battery life.
Having read the majority of the posts in this thread I felt compelled to offer a positive view of ownership.

@FerdinandFitbit you say it's rolled out to every Charge 2 user, but the Fitbit helpdesk told me otherwise in an email a couple of days ago:
"We'd like to inform you that Fitbit is in progression in making this feature available to all Charge 2 users. We've started to make this feature available gradually throughout the population of all Charge 2 users. The expected completion of this feature's availability is by the end of Spring or a little bit beyond this season. We hope that you'd understand the situation. Fitbit is doing this gradual progression to ensure that this feature would be of good work and with the absence of unwanted and unusual issues."
From this reply it thus remains very unclear (and very annoying) when the feature will be available. More patience for all the Charge 2 users out there I guess... Would be better to not have said that the feature is available if you ask me.
Cheers

@Omnivore, Great to see you around!
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback about your experience with Sleep Stages. I'm very sorry that it's not working for you at the time but this seems not to be an issue with the trackers themselves but something with the firmware version. The fact that it's working on the majority of the trackers and not on some, doesn't necessarily mean that the tracker is faulty but that there might be some glitches with the firmware version that doesn't work properly on some trackers but our team is working hard on this to get our users back on track.
@RogerPolk, Great to see you in the Forums and thanks a lot for sharing also your experience with your tracker. I'm very happy to hear that it's working great on your tracker and thanks a lot for the support and we hope that all other users can get to have a good experience as you!
@ArieAardvarken, good to see you around too!
I need to take the blame for this and I apologize for the misinformation. I was able to clarify this information with our team and it seems that Sleep Stages have not been rolled out to all Charge 2 users since we're experiencing some issues as you might have noticed and our team is working hard to resolve this so that we can continue to roll it out to all Charge 2 users making sure it will work 100%. Thanks for pointing that out!

I have a Charge 2 and it has NEVER worked. There has to be some sort of setting on it that you have to change.

That's interesting because I had a recent update that included sleep stages which has worked well for a couple of weeks or so now. For some reason on Wednesday the metrics for sleep reverted to back to the "awake, restless, and sleep" setup. I don't know why.

No! Not an adequate explanation. Intermittent despite not being removed for 3 days and sleeping 7+ hours.

I reviewed the postings and answer from the moderator. The Blaze has worked fine with posting my sleep until last night - and this morning there was nothing posted. And because it did not post my sleep last night I am unable to view the sleep details prior to yesterday. And yes, I slept more than 3 hours - I was in bed around 10pm and got up at 5am. The battery was fully charged when I went to bed and I did not sleep any different than any other night. Please fix the issue sooner than later.

It's time for Fitbit corporate to take responsibility for an inconsistency technical glitch and both publically own there's a problem and invest profits into finding a solution or admit there's a bug they can't fix for now at least.

Yep, totally agree. This is what happens whenever techs are doing their thing with something new and it happens, no shame, so why not own it. No idea. Our trackers are working, or most of them probably are,and have the latest firm ware and the sleep records show the new stuff one time and not another. That is a programming issue, bugs, and whatever else you want to call them. It is the way it is. Look at the Windows, they come out with something new then work through the parts that are needing fixed, the back doors hackers can you and the like, but they own it! So we can debate this till whenever, it will be what it is until it is totally worked out. To try to deny responsibility and have the user jump through hoops that they have "been there done that" over and over only to have the same problem is a reason to question where the problem lies. Another reason to question where the problem lies is when it isn't working one time, and I am talking the sleep record that shows the rem, deep and light sleep, and awake times, and then another day it doesn't work leads me to believe it is in the program, not the tracking device. I do not use my cell phone as some do and I have seen this work this way ever since the they switched to the newer version of the stages of sleep. I love it, and so far only have had it not work once or twice. So far.
