I don't have that option in my settings? That would suggest you are several updates in front of me, strange...

I've messaged the moderators directly before and had no response.

I'm having the same issue with sleep stages and have been since April.

Not responding seems to be what they do best next to selling a product that does not work as advertised.

Could this be seen as false advertising  in which case would Fitbit have to refund

I'm starting to notice a pattern...

I get sleep stages when I don't meet my sleep goals.

I get the basic sleep analysis when I meet my goal (over 7hr, 50min).

The pattern is pretty consistent.

I was starting to think the same. Also I seems like if the app has updated it seems to affect it.

Maybe unrelated the HR sensor seems to drop out if you go above 140 ish. The reason I mention this is if the HR sensor has inconsistencies it could interfere with the sleep patterns.

My sleep stages are intermittent. I got a new Blaze and gave my old one to my husband. Sleep stages have worked for him almost every night and he loosens the band! My new one worked for four straight nights and now it mostly doesn't. I've tightened it, I've loosened it, worn a different band to bed- nothing helps! It has to be something physical with certain people. What that is I don't know. It certainly is frustrating!

Uninstall App then reinstall BUT do not apply Update.  Turn off automatic updates on your device (phone)

Possibly. I'm not sure though. Mine has been working consistently fir a while now. But, I'd contact them if I were you. Maybe they will offer some type of compensation.

It's very frustrating. But, you could have a point about it being physical.

Mine has never worked! My friend's has the correct analysis with REM, deep and light sleep but mine is the basic and has never been otherwise. Has anyone figured out maybe it depends on the kind of Fitbit you have? I have the Alta. Does that matter?

Mine has never worked. After 8 hours solid sleep the app reports 2 hours bad sleep... Useless. The old stat was much better.

Mine worked once last week with the sleep pattern and that was it, and it wasn't associated with meeting my sleep goals. I am disappointed it doesn't work nightly.

Hi, where is "sleep tracking" in the app as I haven't seen it. Thanks.

Mine actually started working correctly a couple of days after I made my
post. I actually deleted the account and then added my blaze back in like
I had bought a new one. I did the same with the app on my phone and
reloaded the app and paired it up to my Blaze again and everything worked
as it should. Then one day last week it quit working at all but I powered
my iphone off and then restarted it and it started working fine again. I
have had no issues and it shows me my sleep cycles like it should.

I'm not sure. That may be the problem. I have a Blaze. Have you updated your device recently?
