@SunsetRunner whenever I have had that problem I just restarted my phone and then synced my Blaze after the phone started back up. I now tend to restart my phone every morning when I pull it off the charger and haven't had an issue in months. Hope that helps you! (I have a Galaxy S6 Edge)

I know it resets at midnight, but is there a limit to how many text notifications can be shown on the Blaze throughout the day?

I had trouble today with reading SMS Text messages on my brand new Blaze gift.
It took a little bit more poking around than expected to get it to work.
It works now but I have had to go back to displaying new messages on the Galaxy mobile locked screen, which I have always had off for security.
Hope these changes may help somebody else:

I took someone else's suggestion and downloaded Textra on my S5. It works perfectly now. Plus, the app is way better than Samsung's message app. Here's what I did:

I'm glad it worked for you! Kind of sad that we have to search for a solution rather then have the Fitbit team point us in the right direction.

@thebatman411 if you would like help from the Fitbit team, then please contact them i know they would be more than happy to help. Link found in the top right of this page under the "?", or in the app under "Help".
If your interested in getting help from the Comunity of Fitbit users then this is the place to post your question.
My question is, what problems are you haveing, we might be able to help. Your other post was giving good help, not mentioning a problem.

I was finally able to get this to work. There are so many places on the phone to change the settings for the way text messages, notifications, previews, etc. are changed. I looked at a text message on my phone, then clicked on the ... in the top right corner to enter settings. i clicked on Notifications, which is after push messages, and before emergency alerts. I then found a place to check a box next to "Pop-up delivery" and "Preview Message". I turned both on. I tried to find every setting that would turn on the text messaging, allow it to display on a locked screen and preview. It worked. I actually read the last text message that came from an outside source. I am so excited it can be read. I will experiment with turning the different features on and off and see what happens, however, I sent myself a text message to my phone and it didn't come through. I don't know why.

While your answer is well thought-out and thorough one very important information is missing, the type of phone yoy have? Android or iOS?

No, @Gtalley23, it buzzes and you have to activate the screen, either with the button or a quick gesture.

Why can't I pair a lg 450 phone with Fitbit blaze

I don't know @Gtalley23.
First thing to do is check to see if it has been tested. Www.fitbit.com/devices
The second would be to let us know at what step the seryp process fails.
Are you using the Fitbit app, not the phones Bluetooth?
