@lllaurie Depends on the messaging app you're using, but maybe check out @ErickFitbit's post over here and see if that helps.

@lllaurie what messaing app are you using on the phone?
By done all this do you mean:
- Swipe down while on the Blaze's clock face, make sure notifacations are enabled?
- Enabled notifacations in the app, telling the app which messaging app and dialer your using?
- In the phones settings - default applications, is the default messaging and phone apps assigned?
- In the phones sounds and notifacation settings is notifacation on lock screen enabled?
- Is preview enabled in the app?
- Do you see messaging popups, with the complete message, on the phone while the phone is in a lock state?
- Now look at the phones Bluetooth settings page, is the Blaze showing as connected. We aren't concearned with Blze Classic for now.
- Is the Fitbit app up to date?
- Another thought is that if the messaging link is really broken, then connected GPS will not work.
Please keep us informed, to give specific help, we really need to know which version OS is on tye phone, and tye messaging app that is being used.

I did what you did and it only worked on the first message. I tried it again 3 times and the notification on the blaze only said 3 more messages. it said who it was from but no message content. Lorenzo

I followed your lead, installed google messenger. if sending multiple messages from the same person, only the first message content shows up. all the rest it just says how many messages there are. I even restarted the phone and the blaze, it did not make a difference. Lorenzo.

@lorenzo1 That is expected behavior from the Android Messenger app. If you'd like to see the content of all messages when they're all unread, I recommend setting up Google Hangouts as your default text messaging app in both your phone settings and the Fitbit app's "Notifications" setting. That works for me.

Hi, just tried the same with my Fitbit Blaze and Galaxy Note 3 and I cannot get any notifications at all of text messages not even a green or white bubble!! When I scroll down from the watch function to the message area it just tells me ‘All caught up! ‘and ‘No notifications’ even though I have had texts today.
I have checked all my phone messaging settings and they are as you describe. Do I need to do something with the Fitbit, like a reset?
I also cannot connect to any form of music as my Fitbit tells me I am not connected!!
Very frustrating.

@SunsetRunner go to your phones sound and notifacations settings, make sure you have Show on lock screen to Yes. Does your messages popup on the lock screen of the phone? Also on the music control screen is notifacations turned on? Which messaging app are you using?
Now for music is the Bluetooth Classic paired?
Do you have the music player playing a song, and the Fitbit app running 8n the background. 1

Thanks for this. Ok, the music connection is working now and I have paired via Bluetooth Classic.
I have changed my notification settings and I get these to show on my lock screen (emails and calendar events etc.). But these still do not show on my Fitbit. The same is true if my phone rings.
I just get the ‘All caught up!’ message when I scroll down from the clock screen.
I am using Google Inbox for my emails. Still not sure why texts and calls are not showing up.
Any ideas?

Also go into the phones settngs - Applications - Messages make sure the default is set correctly.

The Fitbit notifications are all set and correct.
In my phones default applications for Messages I do not seem to have a default app and I cannot click on the Message name to change it as it is greyed out.

@HullBlaze without having any more info then it doesnt work, the best i can suggest is to look at @EmersonFitbit's post here, it has helped many get their notifacations up and working, if you would then need detail help, then your more than welcome back with specific questions.
You can also glance through posts above where there are sevel posts with detail info.

I have a fitbit blaze and my notifications worked for when I had a call or text message. Now all it says
is All caught up and I am no longer receiving and notification of text or incoming calls. Everthing is on that should be for me to receive them, but cannot figure out why. Can anyone help?

@SunsetRunner we know you have a Blaze, but for notifacations to work a phone is also necessary, which phone would you be using?
