Charge 2 Blank Screen But green lights on

Charge 2 screen went black. The green lights on still. I tried charging, restarting but no luck. It vibrates and shows working on app. Any ideas???

Not sure how this message works but I did not intend to go after anyone and
apologize if my reply to someone that seemed upset that anyone would say
something positive about FitBit was directed at you. I hope you are able
to get a satisfactory replacement for your item. I was happy with the
discount they offered me, others expect more.

My charger is doing the same thing.  A few days ago, it just started running through all of its options as if I was pressing the side button but I was not.  Fin sly it stopped.  Then yesterday I notice kind of a split screen.  Some of the lines across the screen went missing.  I plugged it in an charged it, now the screen is blank.

 

Tried reset options strike blank.  Green lights are on and it vibrates.  Also notices steps from yesterday did not synchronized.

Since all of you are experiencing the same situation, I'd like to recommend you all to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? if the device is completely unresponsive, but if the heart rate green lights are still flashing, please try our restart process. If by any chance the screen of your Charge 2 devices doesn't respond after trying such steps, I recommend to get in touch with our Customer Support team to receive further assistance directly with them. Hi there,

 

I woke up up this morning and tried to check the time on my Fitbit and found out that the screen doesn’t  display anything. The green lights are still on however the screen is blank! I’ve followed your advice and tried to reset it, unsuccessfully unfortunately. 

 

What else can can I do to fix it? I can’t live without my Fitbit 😭

These posts seem to be coming directly for me to address. All I can say is
when it happened to me I opened a chat with the service team link on their
web site. Mine was out of warranty but they offered me a discount. Seems
25% on a new charge 3 or 40% on an Ionic. Seems to be a standard offer if
you talk to them. I got the Ionic. I used my credit card that adds a
year or more warranty to what I purchase instead of getting extended
warranties. Both Charge 3 and Ionic are water resistant that prior
versions were not. I think water vapor eventually condensed inside my
charge 2 which shorted out the screen. I still take the Ionic off and put
it on the charger when I know it will get wet like when I shower out of
habit.

Last time I took a small electronic device apart all you see is a black dot
with small wires coming out. The very tiny circuitry is usually protected
in an epoxy of some sort. There is no repair on miniturized circuts like
this just replace.

Hi,I have tried all the steps mentioned and my screen is still blank. My watch has been with me for close to a year. Can you kindly advise resolution.

Best I can offer is go to their web site and start a chat with customer
service on what you have done. Worst case it seems is a discount on next
purchase. They may have something that might help also. Have to chat with
them to find out. I wish you well.

 My Fitbit to still records and has green lights but the screen is blank. I tried to restart suggestions and it won’t work.

I think your only option is to go to to their web site and open a chat with
customer service about your problem. If they don't have a solution and its
out of warranty they may offer a discount on a replacement.

Hi. Unfortunately, this happened to my Charge 2 yesterday. I’ve charged it and tried to restart it multiple times with no luck. Is there any other solutions to get the screen working or does a case need to be opened like you mentioned above? It is showing fully charged on the app but says ‘looking’ when I swipe down to sync it.

I'm having the same problem.  Green lights on. Everything seems to be working but the screen.  I did notice this week that the numbers on the time seem to be off centre and missing the bottom of the numbers a bit.  Tried several different USB plus but nothing v Has anyone found a solution?

When I've had sync problems turning my bluetooth off on the app device and
then on a few seconds later would solve my problems. This may not work for
you if you have the blank screen problem.
