Charge 5 Clock Faces feedback

I want to add my $.02 to this discussion.  Never have I seen functionality take such a back seat to design as with these clock faces.  The purpose of the clock face is to display information. Why oh why do any of the faces that display more than basic info muddle the time or stats with slashes or overlays that obscure the basic information, such as the time of day!

Example   "Slashed" - for me the best of the bad lot. All the information is available at a glance - time (without seconds) date, zone minutes and heart rate, BUT the the clock numbers are cut off by the slash which makes reading them at a glance difficult.   Or "Energy" which displays an analogue idea of seconds but only one stat at a time. However the "seconds" graphic overlies the minutes and again makes me look twice to read the time, to say nothing of the fact that the purple display is pretty dim in sunlight.

The purpose of a fitness tracker is to display pertinent information quickly.  My old and water damaged Inspire 2 had a better clock face.

The other faces are IMHO "cool" design at the expense of function, as if the designers are in love with their creative ideas, but have no idea WHY they are designing this thing in the first place.

The recent addition of "Bloom" after all the discussion on this forum seems like an insult.

Please give me "slashed" without the slashing of the numbers and adding "seconds" to the clock.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about the Charge 5 and the clock faces available. 

As you mentioned earlier, it's always great to have more clock face options to choose from. If you haven't done so already, please consider voting for these ideas posted in the forums: 

• More clock faces for the Charge 5.  
• Charge 5 Customize clock faces colors.
• Fitbit studio for Charge 5 to create clock faces. 
• Add clean and easy to read clock faces for Charge 5. 
• Charge 5 Heavy stat clock face. 

However, if you have a more specific idea for a clock face, I would recommend that you post this idea in the Feature Suggestion board of the Community, since this section is regularly monitored by the team of developers and it's the best way to make sure voice heard about implementing new features. Make sure to post your idea including as many details as possible so other users can vote for it and show their support.
