My charge 5 will only show the five dots on front I have plugged it into the charger held the buttons down the the battery does come up it's charged at 95% holding the buttons down I get some little squares on it around it but it does not turn off I really am upset

Hopefully I can help. Connect your tracker to the charger and press the button on the USB flat side of the cable. All charging cables that come with the Charge 5 have a button at the end of the USB cable, but it may be difficulty to see it but look closely. You need to press that button 3 times and wait a second between presses. Now wait about 10 seconds for the Logo to appear on the screen.

Hello, FWIW rebooting doesn't appear to work when a corrupted clockface is present on a Charge 5. I stumbled upon this answer after attempting the reboot instruction. Rebooting didn't work and frankly it still doesn't do anything other than blank the charge screen when pressing the reset button 3 times. Meanwhile someone from tech support questioned what clock faces the issue occurs with and that led me to attempt to load an alternate clockface. I figured that the Charge 5 was stuck and wouldn't respond to anything, but it was just acting stupid. I was able to load an alternate clockface and the watch display came back. So, simply loading a clockface appears to fix the problem of 5 dots when the reboot instruction fails. Cheers.
