All morning my charge 5 won’t sync to my iPhone 11. I’ve gone through every step including uninstalling the app, turning blue tooth off and on, pairing again, restarting both devices. Only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset which I had to do last month when alarms stopped working and I don’t really want to do again if that’s not the problem.
Same issue over here. The last sync was yesterday evening. I tried everything, emptied cache, restarted Fitbit, and restarted app. Nothing works. Seems to be a problem at Fitbit
Best AnswerAlso having a sync issue since Monday 1120p east coast time... Tried force stop on the app, turned Bluetooth off and on, pushed the little button on the Fitbit charge wire, restarted the Fitbit, unpaired and paired. It manages to communicate to the phone (I was able to use "find my phone" successfully) but still says I haven't synced since last night. 😫
I, too, am unable to sync my Fitbit Charge 5 using my iPad Air2. I have tried the following:
The one thing I haven’t done is drain the battery. Unfortunately, when the problem began two days ago, my battery was low (12%) and I thought that was the cause. So, now I have a fully charged battery and I can’t sync the device.
I’m going back to my Charge 3 for now and will update this in a few days when the battery on the Charge 5 is completely drained and I give it another try. Should it not work after that, I guess I’ll start looking for a more reliable Company with whom to do business. After the problem I had with Fitbit not accurately recording my sleep (problem resolved by deleting the last recorded sleep as suggested by a Fitbit user) and now this, there’s got to be a Company that actually cares about their customers. Not a single reply in this thread from a representative of Fitbit. It’s pathetic that the only suggestions are from other Fitbit users.
My charge 5 has stopped syncing. I tried all the suggested steps and nothing. It will sync once after you completely remove it and add it again then fail every time after that. I tried to chat with tech support but the website kept crashing.
Same here, Michael. I’ve only had it a week and multitudes of customers are having the SAME problems and other issues?!? This gear is not as good as the Fitbit One. Fortunately I still have my Amazon warranty so this is going BACK Monday and my trusty Apple Watch is going BACK on my wrist before this thing and it’s constant problems gives me nasty ulcers. This just started today 08.16.2022. I have had syncing issues in the past. The Charge 2 was a great device. The Charge 5 just has too many issues.
