All morning my charge 5 won’t sync to my iPhone 11. I’ve gone through every step including uninstalling the app, turning blue tooth off and on, pairing again, restarting both devices. Only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset which I had to do last month when alarms stopped working and I don’t really want to do again if that’s not the problem.
Same for me too !! Picks up steps and nothing else, also tried all “solutions” many times and nothing works at all - not very happy as have really upped my activity and want to see it !! Seems many are affected - last synced yesterday but nothing today 🙄
Best AnswerSame here, synced yesterday evening just fine but no longer syncing, just steps, floors, calories and active minutes. It does say it has synced today but it hasn't, just the info on those above. It returns an error everytime I try to sync it. Tried several of the suggested measures but now at least I know it is not me so will stop trying.
I had this issue happen this morning. My Charge 5 synced at 6:06 a.m. but wouldn't sync at all after that. I followed all the troubleshooting steps, including doing a hard reset of the device. What eventually worked was removing the Charge 5 from the Fitbit app and re-adding it.
The same here. It shows an error message (in green) stating: "Couldn't sync your Charge 5". I tried everything as well.
The app does track the steps and heartbeat, it does not analyze sleep.

added charge 5 to fitbit app again and paired it

I don’t know if it is the IOS problem coz I updates my IOS last week sth and my charge 5 was working properly. Nth wrong with charge 5 till late noon while I was working out…

Such a waste of my time to try all the steps when my Charge 5 will not sync! Thinking it was my Charge I completed all known troubleshooting only to find out it is "fitbit". Why can't that somehow be communicated to users rather than having to find it out from the community? 😞
Same, on Android. Followed all the troubleshooting steps. I was about to contact support but now I see it's a broader issue so I guess I'll just wait. Last sync was 8:45 or so last night (Aug 15th).
