All morning my charge 5 won’t sync to my iPhone 11. I’ve gone through every step including uninstalling the app, turning blue tooth off and on, pairing again, restarting both devices. Only thing I haven’t done is a factory reset which I had to do last month when alarms stopped working and I don’t really want to do again if that’s not the problem.
My charge 5 won't sync either. Missing sleep heart rate and skin temperature data. I Have tried restarting fitbit app and watch changed clock face still won't sync. It is showing data from a walk and current steps total so very strange. Problem must be from fitbit not my equipment.
Mine isn’t working either
Best AnswerMy charge 5 isn’t syncing, it’s barely a few months old and when I try to chat with someone about it the chat glitches and malfunctions and runs me through the same series of asking me what I’m looking for help about and saying it will connect me with someone who can help. Then times out and starts that whole process again. What is happening?? This is an expensive device and none of these issues should be happening.
Same issue. I was actually in chat and someone was assigned but then no response and i couldnt reply. However reading community page its apparently a known issue with the charge 5 and they are working on it
Did the same to me too. I had tried EVERYTHING and no syncing. They tried to say it had synced once this morning. Told them the 1 "sync" they can see this morning when they look up my account is the point in time when I disconnected and repaired the device. But still no data transfer. Proved with screenshot. They KNOW its not user error there are lots of tweets. They could not care less. Last thing I was advised was "wait a few hours and try again". Utterly useless.
got the fitbit today and my s8 is having the same issues, at least its happening a lot today lol
Seems to be a widespread issue, many of us have been unable to sync since late last night / early this morning. Tons of reports coming in this morning about the inability to properly sync.
I've got the same issue. Everything was fine until yesterday, and now something goes wrong partway through the syncing process. It starts, and the app seems to get some data, but then says that it's unable to sync. I've recharged and rebooted the Charge 5 several times, I've turned bluetooth on and off, my iPad's bluetooth can see and connect to the Charge 5, so I think it must be a software issue with the syncing process.
Same issue as all the other users. Tried all the "solutions" but nothing works. Steps seem to be counting and I am getting notifications (i.e. phone calls) but no syncing. Stopped last night. Fitbit owes us an explanation.
