Have you tried restarting your Charge 5? Restarting your tracker will not cause you to lose any data. Place your Charge 5 into its charger and press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

Hi. Same situation with my charge 5 from this morning.. Connected to the charger, let fully charge and tried to restart at least 3 times. My Charge 5 restarts, but the situation is the same, so even the first screen after restart is fully white.

If your still experiencing issues after repeated restarts then I’d definitely call Fitbit Customer Service. You can find ways to contact them here: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US

I find calling them directly or live chat as the best option. I do hope you get things sorted out. If they are able to help please come back and share your solution as it will certainly help others.

If you’ve already tried restarting your Fitbit and that didn’t resolve the problem you can’t try changing your clock face through the Fitbit App: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2311.htm If the problem persist I would contact Fitbit Customer Service: https://myhelp.fitbit.com/s/support?language=en_US

I have been using Fit Bits since the 'One' which was reliable. All the Charge3/4/5 have been unreliable in syncing but lately with the white screen of death ---which won't reset with the cable. I will let it run down and try anew but I think after like 10 years it is time to give up I have been through 1-Charge4 and 2-Charge-5's in the past year. having them replace it doesn't address the fact that they are not making an unreliable product. I am looking for my old 'one charger' because it still works without problem but sadly I will go buy a $799 Apple Watch to replace all the FitBits that are dead in my possession. To bad it was really a great place in the market place but look at all the complaints on this forum. Customer service can't Fix ---broken engineering. Truly sad. I loved the fit bit concept--steps and health racking for a reasonable price!
