How can you revert back to the old look app? The new layout is terrible and very hard to read and understand. Your chat team say it can’t be reverted. Please can you change this quickly? Otherwise, it’ll sadly have to be the end of my Fitbit.

Agree, the new Fitbit app is a MAJOR step back!! the over all design, color palate, the lack of intuitive flow, removing maps from exercise, and the list continues. I did care much to replace my watch every year or two due to the heavy usage because the app was great, but now with the app going backwards, it feels such a disappointment!

Something had happened to the app. It is suddenly working. Surely it is not because google actually cares about feed back?

I'm not sure it is John - it certainly doesn't have the functionality back that it used to have and we all liked so much. For example, if I use a rowing machine, it picks it up as "Elliptical". You used to be able to re-catagorise the exercise but now you cannot. The data was also much more comprehensive.

Just one example. Cheers. Robin

I agree with the sentiments.

First I was annoyed that I needed o sign in with a Google account.

Second. The new app is clunky and crashes. It does not load the map in a reasonable about of time. And there does not appear to be any elevation gain in the app. Basically we got a reduction in features

----------

Lack of session data is an extreme disappointment.
I agree this "upgrade" was a fail.
No elevation gain either.

----------

Totally share this sentiment.

New app totally useless to the point of my deciding put the fitbit away and just get an old watch out. What a huge backward step by fitbit. They have just made their system unmotivational which i thought was originall its purpose

Agree, this update just got pushed on my phone and took me by surprise. I think "average" is a bit useless and I like to have daily and weekly "total" charts to compare and set my weekly goals. This sucks 😞

It's a disaster! Not been able to sync my family Ace 2 at all so probably gonna have to ditch my own Fitbit and family Ace 2 ....

Just back from a weeks skiing. Not once did my Fitbit pick up that I was skiing. It had run, walk (I'm not that slow am I!) and most often mountain bike. Really annoying.

Absolutely horrible. In order to update my Google account. I need to update my kids account which they no longer have Fitbit because they were frustrated with it as well. I’m deleting the app now I’m going with an Apple Watch. I’ve been a Fitbit user for over 9 years and with this new update I’m finished I’m done I’m moving on.

I agree the new update sucks& Fitbit people know this!  Fitbit for the love of God give us the old version back. At first I couldn't find my alarm/ timer which I used very very often, & now my watch is just stuck on the time. Get ur crap together Fitbit people.I'm going post a Google review that Fitbit sucks. I'm so mad at y'all for creating this new update & it's literally **ahem**!

Well sometimes it works and sometimes not. Recording walks seems to be a major challenge.

I found if you tap on the charging battery symbol on the top left of the app. Tap your device it will take you to the original user friendly app. Yes it's crazy to go through these steps but I just figured this out after being very frustrated that I couldn't even locate my device.
