I just bought a Fitbit Charge 6, because of its capability to do an ECG and to monitor A-fib.
I followed instructions to set up up ECG, but there is no no ECG tile under Health Assessments. Health Assessments has only two tiles (High Heart Rate Notifications and Low Heart Rate Notifications).
I tried:
All to no avail. The ECG tile never shows up.
I am using a Samsung Galaxy A04, running Android 14 and Samsung One UI 6.1.

Hi everyone, and welcome to our new members.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and for the steps that you've tried prior to posting. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. This isn't the type of experience that we want you to have and please know your feedback is truly appreciated.
Because this shouldn't be happening, I'd like to forward this to our team so they can further investigate what may be occurring. While some of you already did it, I'd like to ask the rest of you to provide me with the following:

There is clearly a problem on Fitbit’s side which is obvious from the number of posts here. I was told by support that they are aware of the problem and trying to support it but we are seeing zero progress.

I live in Ireland.

Well, the more pokes, the higher the chance that this may get resolved sooner than later...
So!
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S21. I'm using One UI Version 7 and Android Version 15.
Country: United States of America
Screenshot of the Elusive Missing ECG Tile from the Health Assessments section (also missing from Heart section). Previously, it used to come right after the Irregular Rhythm Notifications and before the High/Low notifications.
Also, as an aside, I was poking the settings in some hope that -maybe- it was as dumb as 'update turned off the Tile, click here to add it back' (alas, no such fortune), and noted that while the Irregular Rhthym Notifications have an on/off button in 'Heart' Settings on the Fitbit Mobile App, the ECG does not. Doesn't really help, but I'm grasping at straws here.
Wouldn't be so bad if there was any other way to GET the danged ECGs out, but they're rather bottlenecked by the Mobile App, so when it derps up like this, I (and others, it seems!) am stuck.
Pretty much went to heck on May 8th, 2025, from the sound of it, with the ECG Tile vanishing. ...You'd think it'd be easy-ish to roll back if they have 'this version went wrong' 'this version worked' but I am admittedly also not a programmer, so...eh. Just wonder how widespread the issue is and if it's just 'only the people who need that ECG are noticing they can't get their data out'.
Edit: ...other bit of random speculation is if it's a, I dunno, format thing? Some of the instructions for other Fitbit/Google product apps are 'okay, click 'see all' to find the Health Assessments tab' for the smart watches, and I have observed the current Fitbit Mobile App has trouble telling the difference between a Fitbit Charge 6 and a Smartwatch sometimes (as it keeps prompting me to install the SpO2 app to get my SpO2 readings on the Mobile App and telling me it's not available while displaying my latest SpO2 data above said message, while the Fitbit Charge 6 apps list in the gallery shows it as installed)...

I am in the UK. Phone is Samsung Galaxy A53. The ecg tile was there on May 8th 2025 & hasn't been on the health assessments since. There is no error message, it's just not there.
Really hope this gets sorted soon.

Same for me, Samsung S21, Fitbit charge 6
Here, the response I got from Fitbit support.
Hello Yoana,
Thanks for reaching out to the Fitbit customer care team.
This email is to inform you that your case has been forwarded to our higher tier of support for further review.
Please be advised that it may take some time to complete this thorough investigation. While our specialized team works to find a solution for you, we appreciate your patience.
As soon as I hear back from the higher-tier support team and get an update, we will send you another email to follow up.
Thank you for your continued understanding.
Why has my topic being merged by the moderator? It now seems like it is an issue with newly purchase devices and it is not! I have received very unprofessional and scarce support and no resolution, despite the huge number of users with the same problem!

Thank you for paying prompt attention to restore this. People like me bought their device because of the now missing feature. I've read the thread and have the exact same issue. Software updates need to be tested going forward please.
Android Galaxy S10e, One UI version 4.1, Android version 12
Washington state, U.S.
No screenshot, no error messages, just missing ecg tab as you see in the other posts. The tab is (as of a couple days ago) also missing for all time beforehand as well.

Using a Motorola G Stylus, Android 11, USA, no error messages - just no ECG tile under the Health Assessments in the YOU tab
I submitted this through Help text and received an email that they know about the error and are working on it
I have had this Charge 6 for almost a year and had a Charge 5 before for a couple of years. This is the second huge issue with ECG reports since I got my Charge 6 - the first went on for months! I definitely can't recommend Fitbit products anymore.

Fitbit apps ver: 4.42.1
Country: USA
These are the screenshots of the only tiles available under the Health Assessments Section in the You tab (and is also missing in the Heart Section of the Today tab)
I have tried everything that others here have tried & more to no avail. Clearly this crosses country borders as well as phone makes/models.. It's got to be the Fitbit app itself.

This is ridiculous. The ECG app is THE MOST IMPORTANT feature for me.
Either this issue is fixed FAST or I want a refund.

Thanks for looking into this @LizzyFitbit. I'd just like to add this is more than just 'inconvenient'. It's downright dangerous.

Not true. I've had mine for a year and it's just started happening.

Look deeper into this, Fitbit thinks I'm signed in from China, I'm in the UK, ECG feature isn't available in China.
Click on your profile in top right corner of the Fitbit app, go to "your data in Fitbit", then go to "manage signed in devices", at the bottom is your location, mine shows CN which is China.
