Historic step data no longer displaying in app

ANSWERED

My charge 6 has suddenly stopped displaying weekly, monthly and yearly step data. It is still recording steps each day, but I am no longer able to see information in the past. I have updated the tracker and all other metrics are displaying as I’d expect, other than steps. How do I fix?

My weekly, monthly, yearly data is also no longer showing up in my Fitbit app. Daily data is still showing up. When I tried to delete the app it said that would also delete its data. I do not want to lose my history. What is the problem and how can I fix it? This only started being a problem in the last few days.

I have uninstalled the app…. Then reinstalled it & it has cured the problem. 👍

I’m having the same problem for steps, distance and energy burned.

After reading other people’s experiences, I decided to sign out of my account, then delete the app from my phone and reinstall it. I was worried to do so because the message I received before deleting it said that my data would also be deleted. This is not true because data is saved in my Fitbit account, so getting rid of the app did not affect my historic data. I am happy to say that after reinstalling the app, all is working properly now.

Hi everybody! Thank you for your responses!

I appreciate your patience about this issue. For those who are still experiencing missing data on the app, please try to update the Fitbit app to the latest version if you haven't done it yet and see if the issue persists. See How do I use the Fitbit app? > How do I update the Fitbit app?

I appreciate your time in this process.

I called Fitbit Help several days ago and deleted and reinstalled the app per the instruction of the tech. It restored my historical data but my fluid intake is incorrect up until the day that I reinstalled the app. It shows thousands of cc’s for each day. I made sure all of my phone and app updates were current…still didn’t fix that problem.

Please resolve this issue as quickly as possible.  This is a primary feature of the Charge 6 / Fitbit app and it should work correctly

Hello @DavePK

Have you had a chance to uninstall & re-install the Fitbit app? This has worked to restore the historical data for many of us.

Yes, I, too, have this same issue for nearly a month. When is the escalation going to find an answer? I've tried all of possible fixes. Is there a way to view the data any other way until this gets resolved?
