Inaccurate sleep on Charge 6

Did something change with the sleep tracking on the Charge 6 on or about 23 June 2025.  While I used to have sleep scores consistently above 80 with 8 hours sleep, since that date my scores are between 66 and 74 and it shows sleep times between 6 or 7 hours every day (I would occasionally get these sort of sleep scores previously but only if i had a bad nights sleep).  Personally, I have not noticed any change in my actual sleep patterns.  I have reinstalled my app and restarted my Fitbit and Bluetooth.  I have not changed the way I sleep or how I wear the Fitbit. Is there a setting I need to change?  Or was there an update that changed the way sleep scores are calculated. Thx

Well I feel as if I have been misled being told an upgrade would solve my charging issue and hopefully my recording sleep issie!!

So what should we do? I feel all the solurions they suggest  restart the device, reinstall the app etc are just buying time!!

Again we kindly ask our Community Leaders @StephanieFitbit  @CrisVillaFitbit  or @JuanFitbit :

1) Does Fitbit believe there is any current issue with the sleep tracking accuracy?

2) If there is an issue, does Fitbit intend to address it with an update?

3) If there is an issue, how can we get refunds for the money we have paid for devices that do not do what they are supposed to do?

Possibly Fitbit do not understand either, some work and some don't, sometimes.  And therein lies the problem

It's now 2026 and I just purchased my fitbit Charge 6 and it is either not recording my sleep or cutting it off while I am still sleeping.  Did they have a fix for you?

You are correct. What I tried doing was moving it up my arm before bed and it seems to help more often than not

They eventually replaced my fitbit under warranty and guess what, the new one is exactly the same. Yet my husband ordered a Charge 6 as his Charge 5 died and his works fine. I gave given up!!

I don't think Fitbit understand why some work and some don't either.  And therein lies the problem.  Now that I just use it as a watch and a notification device and it does those 2 tasks reasonably well.
