Sounds similar to my issue. My readings were way out of whack mid-February after the Super Bowl. Then things stopped giving readings each morning. I bought a new fitbit, thinking my 2 year old device was the problem. Still missing the same data each day with new watch. I think Google needs to fix the app or something.

Similar,

Mine worked for years, through multiple devices, and just stopped reporting stress score four days ago, although all other data is displaying correctly.  No updates are pending, I restarted my fitbit, whcih did not help.  Wear my device practically 24/7.

---

Additional observation - there was a fitbit app update to version 4.37 - about the same day the stress score stopped calculating - maybe there is a relationship and a bug that needs to be fixed.

Hello @jbvalor , @GreggS48 , @AnnefromMI

There are multiple reports about this issue. I'm also experiencing this issue. Several of us have submitted the issue for escalation so the team is aware of the problem.

We are advising users to report the issue using the Feedback option in the Fitbit app:

  • Tap on your picture in the upper right of the Today page in the Fitbit app
  • Select Feedback in the menu that opens
  • Complete the prompts & submit

Although it's likely that you won't receive a response, the team receives & reviews the feedback reports.

The Moderators usually pick a thread to acknowledge the issue and will use that thread to post updates. When I find which thread they're using, I'll report back with a link so you can follow the thread.

According to the Moderator's post in this thread (<-- click link), the issue has been fixed.

If you still don't see a stress management score tomorrow (07 Mar 2025), please post in the thread above and let the Moderator know you don't see your score.

Hello @DVarga

Did your stress management score appear this morning?

I don't think the fix was retroactive and you won't see scores for the days where the score was missing.

No retroactive scores appeared yet.

Hi Everybody.

Thank you for being aware of the situation. If some of you have not yet received the Stress Management score please make sure of the following:

  • Wear your device for at least 1 full day and night. In the morning, sync your device and check your score.
  • Take at least 500 steps during the day.
  • Make sure your device can track your heart rate. For more information, see How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device?
  • Confirm that you are getting sleep stages

No, it's still not working. I'm still not getting sleep stages, and not
getting HRV, or BR. Only seeing a resting HR.

I noticed yesterday that my Charge 6 doesn't have a green light on the
back. So I re-synced and connected my Inspire 2 to see if that gives better
readings now that you're saying the app issue is fixed. It's still the
same, but no O2 sat since Inspire 2 doesn't read that. The green light is
on for the Inspire 2. I wore this device for about 2 years before getting
the Charge 6 when I noticed the data problem a month ago. Have had Charge 6
about 2 weeks, but plan to return it now.

Both devices not giving sleep stages, HRV, or BR.

Hello @AnnefromMI

Have you had a chance to check the Settings tile on your Charge 6 to confirm that Heart rate is turned on? Sometimes, the sensor gets turned off without us being aware of it.

  • Swipe down from the clock face until you get to the Settings tile (last one) and tap on it
  • Swipe up until you see Heart rate and confirm that it's turned on. If it isn't, tap on the dot to enable it.

Hello @AnnefromMI

Thanks for confirming that Heart rate is enabled on your Charge 6, but you still don't see a green light.

I've seen users report that Support had them do a factory data reset and that restored their green light/heart rate sensor. That's an option if you want to try it. If you want to see if this works for you, this help page (<-- click link) has the steps to follow.

Since it sounds like you might be still in the return window, it might be better to return the Charge 6 for a refund or replacement.

Thanks for your follow up. I think I will return the Charge 6. I'm hesitant
to buy another one since I'm not getting good data with my old Inspire
2(green light works) or the Charge 6.
