Calories remaining differences

Dashboard shows calories left as one number then when I go to log food screen, the calories left is a different number. Deleted and redownloaded app with no change. Image included for reference. App freezes at times as well. Any suggestions on how and when this will be resolved?

This confused me as well when I noticed it. This is only a guess but I think these might technically be based on the same BMR number; one is updated at midnight (so it shows all your BMR calories for the day at once) and the other is updated maybe a few times an hour? so that at the end of the day they should be the same number, or very close to it. I'm not sure if the difference is intended or a bug, but I can see use cases for each method of showing calories.
