Hate the new look of the app as I and many others have said but this weekend it went rogue.
I took the fitbit with me last weekend but decided to not wear it and left it plugged in back at the hotel.
When I opened the app on Monday---What a surprise!! It told me I had lost two pounds on Saturday and 8 lbs on Sunday. I had never even opened nor manually logged anything into the app all weekend and needless to say I had not lost 10 lbs over the weekend.
What is up with Fitbit these days???

I wasn't given a prompt if I wanted to update. It just happened. Hate the update myself.
I used to love my FItbit until this latest update made my logging impossible.
I used the phone app to log all my intakes for the day. When I got home I would sync thru the wifi & get my activities added to the app. Thanks to this update, I can no longer log my intakes without it being on the internet. This update made my whole system totally useless & less functional and I also DO NOT like the new looks. I contacted customer support I was basically told I was out of luck unless I spend more money & put my phone on a data plan that I cannot afford.

I was not given a choice to update my phone app and I'm not at all happy with the new look! I liked the grid layout because I could see more stuff at a glance. I miss my green celebrations when I met goals, my hourly step dots, my sleep rainbow, and my weight range scale (because I've lost the weight I wanted with the help of my Fitbit and am tracking maintenance now). The list format makes everything harder to get to.
I'm not interested in subscribing to Fitbit Premium. Everything under the dashboard is still the same. Why can't Fitbit give us the option of the old or new dashboard?

Please make the old app available for download - I hate this new app and would never have installed it had I known what I was going to get. I've just spent the best part of 5 hours searching to find a download from someone, as I hate it that much! Plenty of Android previous versions, but alas no IOS.

Well I like the new app.
the messaging has improved!
now I would like to have the messages deleted, because all my beautiful “friends” turn into men or have their picture or their complete account removed.
I must say, I too had some issues at first, but now I’m happy.

My app is STILL uncooperative with starting challenges, even the 'back door' won't work. It's as if FITBIT app just half installed... Maybe the new owners will make improvements. In the meantime, I will not recommend fitbit to anyone.

I agree 100%. I will be switching to Garmin. I went for a walk this morning and the widget showing the exercise time could not make up its mind if I walked over 30 min or not and gone are the "fireworks" on the widget that celebrate walking over a certain number of minutes and I have to sync it manually all of the time. And the data sharing from the app is egregious! Done with Fitbit, moving on to Garmin. I have work a fitbit for the past 5 years but since it was bought from Google it is all about big business. Bye bye Fitbit!
