The New Look Dashboard

I have only had my charge 3 since October last year and I love it and only ever take it off to charge it.  It was given to me by my 3 daughters for my birthday to encourage me to be more active and it worked wonders for me, I walk every day, go to zumba 4 times a week and swim when I can.  I am 67 years old and it took a while to learn how to use the app properly and I loved it as I could see at a glance how my day was going and could compare easily with my friends and family progress. BUT now that fitbit have changed everything it is horrible, everything has to be searched for and there is much less information.  I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT and from what I have seen so does the rest of the world.  What were you thinking of fitbit people? Why try to fix what is not broken? Give me back my old dashboard that I knew and understood and stop messing things around.  Why did you not consult with the normal everyday user to see what they might want instead of trying to show how clever you are and in the process really annoying the hell out of everyone.  LISTEN TO YOUR USERS BEFORE THEY ALL LEAVE AND GO ELSEWHERE.

It not only looks hideous, it doesn't work properly for me. I logged in, and after waiting 10 minutes for it to sync, it only showed me today's step count. And then -- POOF! -- the info disappeared. I had to resync, the numbers were there. So I looked at yesterday's steps and nothing had synced. I went back to Today and the data was gone.

This makes the app USELESS. Stop fixing what ain't broken!

I MOST DEFINITELY DO NOT work for Fitbit and I have no idea why you would think that I closed down your thread.  Even if I knew how to I would not as everyone is entitled to their own opinion

Taking a break from FITBIT till I see what happens.  I was going to upgrade.  I'm holding off on that.  If they are going to start charging for something (Premium App) that was included with sign up I will be out.  Going back to my old way of tracking and going to research new device.  I have a feeling this may be the sign of the times with FITBIT.  Pausing for now.

Hi Jogger 59I think this could be a good move.  I am looking at the Letsfit range.  They seem to be hungry so they care what their customers think.Lamorna Dickson Sent from Samsung tablet.

I'll chim in also on the hate the new look side.  I loved how the old one flashed and danced when you hit goals.  This new one is very unimaginative.  Its strange how the dashboard itself is different but when you go to one of the items the look is just as it was.  So why change it??!!!   I also have trouble with it syncing properly.

Thanks, everyone for your feedback on the dashboard. The dashboard was updated as an ongoing mission to continually evolve and grow the features offered by Fitbit. I can assure you that your feedback has been passed on to our team, however, there are no plans to revert to the old dashboard.

Additionally the new dashboard would not be responsible for issues syncing. Please ensure your app is up to date and check out this article if you are experiencing syncing issues.

This thread does appear to be going of the rails so I will be closing it for further reports. (Only moderators can close threads).
