Versa 3 keeps trying to install Coach app. I have 4 times factory reset the watch, uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app and set up the watch as a new device. It is still trying to install the Coach App. Any ideas?

Me too!!!
Best AnswerI just posted asking about this. Tech support had no solutions for me other than “restarting the watch” and the next one was to “restart the phone”. I used the coach app a couple times for the ab workout, but now it’s constantly trying to install and giving me error messages. It’s getting annoying

1. Is there a way to roll back to the previous firmware?
2. The Coach app "not installing" issue is killing my battery as well. How can I stop it or uninstall it?
I cannot remove it.

Best AnswerHi LizzyFitbit: I understand that the Coach app is going away; that's fine. However, I would like to delete or uninstall it from my App list sooner, rather than later. It is continually updating or trying to update, and is affecting other things. How can I do this please?
Best AnswerJust chiming in to say I started seeing this yesterday, and the fix doesn't work for me. Coach is listed in My Apps and the progress slider is moving back and forth continuously. Tapping the app gives me no option to remove it. I have tried:
1. Factory resetting the Versa 3.
2. Uninstalling/Reinstalling the Fitbit App on my phone
3. Leaving everything plugged in and charging for hours.
The Coach app keeps buffering. This has been going on for 4 days. How do I remove the app from my iPhone?
Best AnswerI was able to tweet with FitBitSupport and got the following answer after following their troubleshooting steps: We're aware of this issue, but may not be able to provide a fix in the near future. We'll continue to monitor the situation and keep our team informed of its impact. Thanks for your patience.
Not acceptable. This was an issue you caused FitBit with a firmware update. If not resolved in acceptable time, I will be getting rid of my FitBit watch for good.
Glad to see that I'm not the only one with this problem. It is also giving me synch'ing issues.
Hope they fix it soon.
The coach app on my phone for my versa3 keeps trying to install but it can’t as I understand it’s no longer available but this is resulting in my app not fully syncing with my watch and it’s constantly loosing connectivity. It won’t allow me to delete the coach app either. I’ve done a full reset of the watch & app but nothing is fixing it.
Best AnswerJust give up on the coach app until @Fitbit resolves it. The update has added features and removed certain aspects of the previous version. E.g. good battery life and coach app. Never even used the coach app so don't really get the big fuss. But I'm guessing given the amount of people talking about it, it must be good but for now until something / many things are resolved we wait patiently. Hopefully by deleting the watch from the app and adding it again and syncing after deleting the Bluetooth pairings with the device will it work.
Fitbit support have told me (by email) that it is a known problem and they are working on it. Took a long time for them to come to that conclusion though!
