Premium cancellation

Premium is worthless and they try to charge even if you cancel. I cancelled on Sep 1, a month before the payments were to begin. They charged me on Oct 2 and said they cannot give a refund even though I cancelled. They said I subscribed on the website and again on my app so I had 2 subscriptions. You can only use 1 subscription. Outright fraud.

Fitbit gave me credit but only after I disputed the charge with my credit
card company. It really ticked me off to get a response from Simon
(Fitbit's supervisor's team) as follows: "If you want a refund, you can see
from fitbit.com says the Fitbit Premium subscription is not refundable." He
completely ignored the fact that I cancelled before the due date.
Obviously, Fitbit can give a refund but they want to get as much income as
they can even if customers get treated unfairly. My opinion of Fitbit is
now a lot lower than it was and I will not buy any more Fitbit products
because of this. This could have been avoided by giving the refund sooner
or not charging in the first place. Simon should not be in this job and the
Fitbit policy needs to change.

I just canceled mine on the app store. Did you try there?

The problem was not with cancelling, it was getting billed after I cancelled. They said I had 2 subscriptions and only 1 was cancelled. Why would they allow 2 subscriptions even if I somehow tried to subscribe twice? You can only use 1 subscription and I never intentionally subscribed twice.
