My Fitbit has always tracked steps,now just showing calories. I have started it over but there is no activity for steps

This can mean that, somehow, your fitbit has become disconnected from your fitbit account.

In the app, if you go to your profile settings by selecting your profile image at the top left of the main dashboard screen, it will show your connected devices. If the Flex 2 is not listed then select "set up a device" and follow the prompts to set up it up again which will reconnect it.

It continues to search for it. It is charged . I have tried turning off and then on blue tooth

If you are trying to add it but it's not finding it, try restarting the fitbit using the procedure in: Help article: How do I restart my tracker?

I have tried turning off blue tooth and then on. Rebooted phone. When I go back in blue tooth on and is searching. Also searching is with fitbit. Fitbit is charged
