What is a tracker App????? there are no "tiles".

again no account tab, post a photo please of the steps for fit bit charge 2.

Nothing works.

I have an iPhone 6 plus. Suddenly today, with no warning the device changed to calories when I synced. I can find no way to change back to steps which makes me want to BURN MY FITBIT

Same happened to me today. I turned off and on the phone, I deleted and opened again the app, I pressed to see if the tiles changed. Nothing worked! I’m quite upset

Main goal is set to steps and have synced but still shows calories on my laptop, but steps on the phone.

Really shouldn't be this difficult

I needed to reconnect my Fitbit as if it was new.  This solved the issue and my previous steps were still recorded so no data loss.

Go to the edit button

you will see 4 measurements

one on them says steps

click the drag handle, and drag Steps to top of list

that should do it!!!

Please assist. I cannot set my fitbit flex to steps. Why will none of the steps work anymore? I have also always been able to measure sleep and now it no longer does this!?

Finally success!!!!!!  Every other thread up to yours was USELESS and FRUSTRATING. Another 15 minutes with Fitbit that I’ll never get back. Thanks for your help!

This was absolutely the only thing that worked on my iPhone. Changing "main goal" in the app had no effect (yes, after syncing), and when I went to the website it showed Steps as my main goal--but the app still showed Distance. This press-and-move (like you do to rearrange your home screen) worked perfectly.

I do that and it syncs and goes back to.the original goal that I'm trying to change. Have tried many times and restarted app.  Now what. Fitbit pleas up your game!

This seems to be disabled. My FitBit keeps waking me up about an hour after i go to sleep. I don't want to set my calories to 5K. When I got my FitBit, I thought it was great and wanted to get one for everyone I knew, but issues like this one are making me think it's time to change to a company that actually cares what their product does to people. There are so many posts by people who hate this and FitBit's response is to disable changing it.

"Main Goal" is not there. FitBit has "helpfully" removed it.

Unfortunately, FitBit has removed the gear icon from this tile. They seem to be happy they are waking us up in the middle of the night.

@FerdinandFitbit Fitbit has disabled changing this feature and now that I am back to working dayshift, calorie "celebrations" are destroying my sleep. Ready to get rid of my device over this.

I have the Inspire too and really ticked off it changed to calories.  I've tried everything and can't get it to change back to steps.  Whoever at Fitbit made this change,  shame on you.  At least give people the option.  I'm going to toss the Inspire and get a different step tracker altogether.  I think they will lose a lot of customers.
