Request for Flex 3

I just got my Flex 2, and I love it. I love the fact that it doesn't have a screen only the dot, because I can have it on my right wrist and still have my watch on my left.

There is only one thing I would love to see in Flex 3 - a heart-rate monitor. I came across the Amazfit Cor, and it has a heart-rate monitor, and I would love to see this on a Flex 3. I don't need any screen, the app is great, keep the dots and add heart monitoring, and I would be first in line to buy 🙂

Probably not the right place to request functions for upcoming products, but why not.

Hey @alma12, welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to post that idea on our Feature Suggestions board. I'm pretty sure that other users will be interested on that idea and maybe our team can take a look and perhaps take it into consideration.

Have a nice day!

How about making the Flex 3 even thinner i.e. instead of a removable tracker, integrate the tracker into the strap so it is the size of the flex 2 band without the thicker section that holds the tracker.

Or better still - come up with a tracker so flat and thin that you could wear it on the back of a traditional watch strap or backside of a watch.

Hum 🤔 i’ll retain slickest possible so that it blends with bracelets and enables me to wear my fancy watch. 😃

The Flex 3 being a little thinner would be perfect! I wear a band in support of breast cancer year round on my right arm, so having it blend in (in terms of size) would be amazing. I miss wearing real watches, so the next fitbit in my life will definitely be without a screen.

Unless they can get the design team to pack in a long, thin screen across a Flex, while keeping it waterproof? Hmm.. 🤔

Hey guys! @SW_B@mrshmoo and @Kokopelli! Those sounds like great ideas to be implemented on a possible Flex 3. I prefer the thinner band, 'cause what I love the most about this tracker, is it's comfortable and discrete design. Hope these requests can be taken into consideration in the future. 😉

Flex with H R would be fantastic, I need one as my Alta HR battery just got wasted and have been advised to buy another, would love to get one without a screen

Hey @sharatjain, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! I think that a Flex with HR should necessary has a screen, so you can check out that info. Let's see if our team decides to make a Flex 3 possible and if so, I would love to see features from Alta, Alta HR and Flex 2.

If you have further comments, let me know!

Hello HeydyFitbit.

sorry to disagree. If you want a screen get an Alta. They are sleek and with a screen. If you need to check your infos, you can do so on your smartphone. The little lights can help indicate if, while exercising your are on fat burn or in cardio. On this thread we want an stealth yet powerful flex 😄

Don't worry @Kokopelli, this place is perfect to share opinions. 😉 I like the idea that you mentioned about the lights indicating in which heart rate zone you are while exercising. Sounds interesting. Hope this becomes reality.

Hi,

No screen. No lights.
The more discreet the better.

There are any number of trackers that offer screens, lights etc but none
yet that offer discretion.

Not everyone wants to wear something that stands out. Many people (an
untapped market for fitness trackers), want something that won't be noticed
or noticeable rather than something that is.

Looking so forward to flex 3 - love to be able to wear my Tracker as a bracelet. Along with HR monitoring function, please could you guys do a nuclear strap.

The Alta HR is too bulky and has a screen I would like to get the same dots, with no screen and the Heart Rate Monitor, I don't need another screen in my life 🙂

No screen. The best thing about the flex is that it has no screen. Current design should be kept, but add features such as recording floors climbed, and adding HRM. The minimalist design is what makes it great.

I'd like the flex 3 to have a GPS chip and be able to upload my run or walk record to Mapmyrun. Keep the same look and comfort as the flex 2.

Also improve the accuracy of swim length counter

Hey hey hey @Simon_stepping, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! A Fitbit tracker as comfortable as the Flex 3, pretty much the same design and with GPS, it would be awesome. I'm in! Let's see what our team does in the future. In the meantime, keep posting your ideas on our Feature Suggestions board.
