So I'm about to switch to morning workouts since I have not been very constant with staying at gym after work (I end up going out, there is a concert I want to go to, get in some extra hours at work, simply tired and want to go home) . I ended up wondering, is there an ideal time to get your exercise done? I have been listening to different opinions on this and I wanted to hear what the Fitbit Community thinks as well.
Here is a little extra info from webMD I found interesting.
What is your input on this?

I like to go out to walk during the night. It's better because the streets of my neighborhood are quiet and calm. My kids are sleeping and all the home duties are done. ![]()

@schmidtcourt I agree with you - working out in the morning totally sets my mood for the whole day! Plus, I've already gotten the workout over with so I can have the nighttime to just relax after work.
I've found that if I give myself only 5 minutes to get ready and out the door on my run, I don't have time to talk myself out of working out in the morning. Not working out is not an option, because I barely have time to think in those 5 minutes I have to get myself out the door!
I'm a bartender so my work hours tend to run later, 5-11pm or later. This makes it hard to get up in the morning, so my sweet spot tends to be 11:30-2pm-ish. I would love to have the motivation to get up at 6 to work out, but it just isn't there when you get off work at midnight the night before. XD

@spearmintskies, I have a very similar schedule and I know how difficult it is, I made my own workout schedule of three times a week and I try to respect it as much as possible, if it's definitely not possible because I'm too tired I just move it to a different day, but I try to be keep a balance between work and sleep.
@LordHeathen, that's definitely one of the things I've found more useful, if I'm not able to exercise that day, I try compensate that with all my daily activities and it's very very useful.
wow @Bbeliever215, you do have a lot of discipline and energy, it's great to know you're Fitbit is being so helpful as well. Keep it going! ![]()
