We’re excited to announce that a firmware update version 210.26 for Inspire 3 has been released to all our members. Some of you might already have this update available. If you installed it, let us know what you think!
We release updates to customers in phases. If you don’t see it, check the Fitbit app in a few days, and you’ll see a message when you can install the update. We appreciate your patience while we get this update to all of our customers.
*Firmware releases are not distributed based on region or location and can reach anyone no matter where you reside. We do not recommend performing a factory reset to force the update to your device as your data will be lost and you may not get the update. Ever since the latest mid-August firmware update my Inspire 3 does not record any active minutes during exercise. It still records active minutes correctly while I’m active around the house or in the yard, but as soon as it determines that I am off on a walk it doesn’t record any active minutes. My weekly recorded active minutes have plummeted by 80% even though my activity level has not changed. As others have said, my Fitbit is now just a pricey pedometer. I foolishly assumed this would be swiftly corrected with another update but it hasn’t occurred yet.
As a bonus, when I try to log in to customer support it does nor recognize my login info. My only recourse was to post here and hope a technician reads this.
When will this disastrous update be fixed??

I have the same problem. Aerobic exercise = 0 zone minutes. Simple chores around my house = 20 zone minutes.
I don't wear my Inspire 3 while sleeping yet 5 hours of deep sleep were recorded last night.
My watch and app don't show the same number of steps at the end of the day.
This current update is horrible and needs to be fixed.

App really unreliable for me. Randomly keeps changing my data for previous days this week! Such as my step count for yesterday was showing over 13000 (even tho my fitbit showed less at around 12600), but then today it randomly changed yesterday's steps back to 12600 so I assumed it was correcting itself, but then later it reverted back to over 13000 again. Then I noticed my calorie info for completed days this week keeps switching between under budget and in the zone - why is it randomly changing this for days in the past??? Really frustrating.

This update is AWFUL!
It no longer records zone minutes. I don’t track exercises and I don’t want to.
The sleep log no longer shows stages of sleep, just asleep, restless and awake.
Do you have any intention of fixing this update?

I suppose I hope this update I installed a few hours ago makes my HR work again which has not for a week, or my active minutes to count again, which they did not this morning, and actually stay counted, which more and more they do not. But the update reset the step count on my device and I lost 8700 steps today. I just dug my inspire 1 out of the drawer and pray it charges back up, because the inspire 3 is trash. I'm trying to use it linked to my health insurance app to earn rewards, and the tracking is ENTIRELY UNRELIABLE!!!!

Good to see I’m not alone here I’m in the same boat and support can’t help.

This update won’t allow my zone mins to work its at 0. Last big update killed my battery on my charge 5 so I had to buy a new watch with nothing from Fitbit but a run around. Can we trust these updates ????

I have also had issues with step counts fluctuating several hundred steps on the app and between the Fitbit and the app itself. Add a third variation as I sync my steps with Noom, and it is different than either the Fitbit or the app immediately after syncing.
Please make it work right again.

Since the update my inspire 3 and app show completely different step counts, even though they sync, or at least appear to. The app is a random number of steps more than it shows on my inspire 3, and hasn't shown the same number since the update. Zone minutes also seem completely random. For 12 minutes the other day I was serving customers, sitting down, repeat, and i recorded 12 minutes of spinning lol.
Absolute pain

2 days ago my inspire 3 has the following issues -
Basically half the functions have vanished.
Are these changes part of the firmware update? If so why?!!! This is rendering the fitbit largely useless. These are the things I use on a daily basis.
Has this information gone completely or has it been moved to Premium and now you have to pay for it?
This also seems to coincide with my Samsung firmware update. Is this related to the Fitbit update?.
There is no point me having a fitbit anymore if all the useful information has been removed..
Please explain

Sleep stages and heart metrics are still available without a Premium subscription. I let my Premium subscription expire and I still get them.
That being said, my wife never gets sleep stages wearing a few different devices, including mine, so the Google-Fitbit Sleep algorithm very clearly works much more reliably for some people than it does for others, which must be resolved with a device FW or app SW update ASAP.
To compound the product performance problem, Google-Fitbit decided in their infinite wisdom to not to return Heart Rate Variation and Breathing Rate heart metrics if the Sleep algorithm is unable to determine and return sleep stages as well.
But wait, there's more! If you don't get sleep stages returned, you will also not get a Readiness or Stress score returned either, so the Inspire 3 isn't good for much of anything at that point in time.

Which fitness tracker is better?.. If I need it to simply record burned callories and show time...but today my inspire3 is failing to even be synced to a correct time zone.
Also Fitbit app does not support dark mode.
Please advise which fitness tracking watch is more reliable and customer focused?

업데이트 이후 인지 뭔지, 하여튼 업데이트를 하고 나서 시간도 안맞고 동기화 자체가 지금 문제가 많습니다. 빨리 해결해주세요. 아니면 이전 버전으로 돌려주시던지요.
I'm not sure if it's because of the update or what, but ever since I updated, the time is incorrect and there are a lot of issues with syncing. Please resolve this quickly or revert it to the previous version.

Hi @AliAliAli I made a discovery about some of my related problems. My Heart Rate function was completely switched off on the device! I couldn't find a setting in the app but if you scroll up on the device to Settings the scroll down to the third item you will find Heart Rate. If the toggle is to the left it is off. Swipe it to the right to turn on and the button will turn blue. Heart Rate has to be on in order for certain other features to work, like Active Zone minutes. I suspect it also has to be on for some of the sleep functions, because my sleep results became limited around the same time other features failed, but with HR on I see the more detailed sleep stages again, and all 5 of my health metrics are reporting again. I barely found the HR setting at all, so I suspect an update must have flipped the switch.

I presume this update broke the time zones on my inspire 3 devices because time zones had been set to a different location and refuses to change no matter how many time the settings are toggled from automatic to manual and vice versa or how many times the device is restarted and resynced.

I've been using my Inspire 3 for about 8 months. After the latest update my zone minutes plummeted even though I have maintained the same exercise schedule. Latest update has turned this into a piece of junk.

My Fitbit and App show a different number of steps. The number of steps showing for the past three days is identical even though it isn’t.
I can see that other users have similar problems. Is this going to be sorted as wearing my Fitbit is now a bit pointless. Will I be able to get a refund as I’ve only had it a couple of months? 🥲

Is anything going to be done about all these problems? I am sick and tired of having different steps in the app and on the inspire3, (which is correct, and why are they so random?),zone minutes are completely random, apparently on a very brisk walk my heart rate only got up to 75 (!) and the list of problems goes on. There are so many of us who have commented, but no comment from Fitbit, they seem to have done an update and hidden away! All my Fitbit is useful for now is telling the time lol
