Best AnswerAs Steph111111 wrote, there might be a fixed update in 3 more days or so.
And I'm not sure if I get in trouble or not, but then I did use Google to search for fitbit version 4.27 download and found "older versions of fitbit (Android)". But as I wrote previously, I had nothing to loose trying it and was lucky with my very old samsung tablet.
I am having the same problem it's really annoying. Mine hasn't synced since Wednesday last week. I've tried everything on the help page and nothing has worked 😕. Please sort it out soon? Or I will get a different brand. I don't want to as my fitbit inspire 3 isn't very old and I've got a Samsung galaxy A13. Just done the update on my phone. I wished I hadn't bothered now.
I have no clue how to install a previous version of the app. Boy do I miss FitBit customer service pre-Google. At least they gave you a way to contact a live person. We'll see what happens this week. Not holding my breath.
Best AnswerI wouldn't uninstall if I were you. I'm not making more effort to fix the issue, because the issueis Google's app, not anything with our phones as near as I can tell. I will daily attempt to sync, and maybe reboot my phone a couple times a week, but I'm not willing to make superhuman effort when they can't acknowledge there's an issue yet.
Best AnswerThanks for the info. You're right, I've quit reading what others are posting because the problem lies with Google. Until they get off their fannies and fix the software, it's not going to work. Having a working FitBit is a first world problem. Ive already wasted hours trying to fix it before I realized dozens (probably hundreds) were having my exact issue. At this point I have more important things to do. I'll put in more effort once they have.
I've been loyal to fitbit since the one you wore on your bra many years ago. Galaxy 13 and inspire 3 not now working same as others have reported. We deserve to be told what is happening. I might have to take my fitbit back to the shop make a fuss and get a much cheaper off brand tracker. They can't have worse customer service than we are getting now
Does anyone have V4.28.1 of the App yet?
My App version just got updated from 4.28 to 4.28.1 this morning, but I am not having this BT sync issue so I don't know if this new App version was released to resolve the sync issue or not.
I have vers 4.28.1 and cannot sync with my Samsung Galaxy A13. Which phone do you have? l hope you don't start having this problem!
Best AnswerHas anyone else tried to contact Samsung about last week's software updates? I reported the issue through the Samsung Members app and the reply is "it's a Fitbit issue"!!! It's clearly not, so it seems more lobbying of Samsung is going to be needed to get a fix.
Best AnswerIt is clearly a Google issue, because their CS team has reportedly related that information to several different people on ths forum
All Android phones are reportedly affected by this sync problem.
Best AnswerWhat makes you say it's "clearly not" a FitBit issue?
Best AnswerMy wife and I have Samsung S10 phones, but the V4.28 App didn't adversely affect us because we are running V210.26 FW on our Inspire 3 devices.
All bets are off if either one of us has to perform a Factory Reset on our device though, because that would roll back the device FW to V188 and the device wouldn't reconnect after doing that.
Best AnswerMy Inspire 3 has stopped syncing for a week now. Reboot the watch twice. I think I'm done with FitBit watches!!
