After searching these forums, the closest search match I found to my current issue is this one:
https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Inspire-3/Inspire-3-stops-workout-sessions-randomly/td-p/5541834
It is closed, and without answer, so I'm starting my own thread.
I've had my Inspire 3 for less than one year, and over the last few months, less than half of my workout sessions fully complete. At some point during the exercise, all recording stops and the watch goes back to the main screen.
I have reinstalled the app on my phone, cleared all data on my fitbit, and done constant restarts between exercises to see if that would help. I'm at that point now where I would not recommend this watch to anyone.
Workout example / steps:
1) Open app on phone
2) Swipe on phone to get to Bike exercise option, with 'Always On' enabled - this is so that I can see that it is tracking
3) wait for GPS to start while app on phone is open
4) start exercise
5) arrive home to see that tracking stopped, more often than not, within the first 5 minutes.
There's quite a few steps needed to stop activity reporting, and in no way does my sleeve press all the buttons on screen to stop recording. I'm at a loss as to why my fitbit randomly stops recording. It is currently an over-glorified watch.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
