I also noticed a couple weeks ago that my battery is barely lasting 24h vs 4-5 days like it used to.

Also, i’ve had to reboot my fitbit about every 2 days because it stops getting notifications, and i’ve Noticed that the time is not synced with my phone (2 minutes off).  I’m not sure what’s going on, or if they had a update that came out recently or not.  I hope it gets fixed soon.

Hello everyone!

@RobOda, @Duggameister I'd like to ask if you are using a third-party clock face or if you are using a Fitbit one? If you are using a third-party one, please try switching to a Fitbit one.

@Kneaimi Please do keep us posted on how it goes and let us know if the situation improves.

@Khushbir and @SunsetRunner, welcome to the Forums. I'd like to recommend that you try to restart your Fitbit. Please also let us know if you are using a third-party clock face. If so, try switching to a Fitbit developed clock face.

Feel free to reach out if there are any other questions.

I have to reboot my Fitbit about every 2 days. That seems to be the solution to when it no longer connects to my phone and the time is off. After I reboot it, I sync it and it’s ok for a couple days.
I am using a Fitbit clock face.

@LanuzaFitbit

I don't add custom stuff on it. I use the default fitbit clock face etc.

I charged it last night, took it out this morning, haven't been wearing it at all, just on my desk and it's back at 44% at time of writing.

I had my back to base factory defaults and it made no difference. They are
grasping at straws and guessing while their dev team (hopefully) tries to
figure out what they broke in the last update.

Now I tested with Heart Rate ON and the battery lasted a little less than 1 day. Every time I have to recharge I have to re-synchronize since the time is lost.

Like other people after the update began the problems.

What is the SLA to contact me?

Regards.

I purchased my Fitbit Ionic about 1 and a half weeks ago. The forst week was fine and then 2 days ago i noticed that the battery level began dropping suddenly. Last night I went to bed with 63% battery and this morning woke to a dead watch. I have factory reset and removed from the fitbit app as explained numerous times in this forum and its still happening. Not overly happy considering my Blaze could have 4+ days out of a charge.

I'm having the same problem as well. I charged my Ionic this morning and over the last 3 hours I've lost 25%. I'd appreciate it if someone can reach out to me with a fix ASAP.

I'm having the same issue too! I have to recharge it very frequently recently. The latest was unplugging it at 100% yesterday night and waking up this morning with a dead watch. I tried the factory restart, however with 100% at 12pm I'm left with 38% now at 3pm. Do help!

To add-on, I haven't even get the last 30 days consolidated data yet, isn't it way too early for it to die in me?

Something Serious is the issue in the design . Being Automation Engineer, i can comment that Fitbit should accept the gap & resolve the issue across all user with agility.

Similar case studies, can result the OEM to out from the segment or competition, So need serious attention instead of defending..

The draining battery issue seems to have been sporadic for me. Some days it drains at its usual pace (giving me 4+ days of battery life), and then yesterday for example it dropped about 40% in just one day. Same clock face I had been using for a few days, a little bit of GPS when I walk my dogs (about 10 minutes), but I wasn’t doing anything drastically different in my daily routine. Some days I think about contacting Fitbit Support but just then it seems to start working fine again. One thing is for certain - I never had problems like this before OS 3.0.

Hi. From Last 15 days i keep on making the changes as per the inputs of your team .
But till time no improvement instead of putting lot of Hardwork ..Request you to plan to replace the battery, as due to current issue your product is of no use. My wife was also planning to but this watch , but due to so many issues we switched to Apple...

Can you please declare the battery life i.e no. of Cycles , this would help me to co-relate my usability..

I've been using the same watch face for over 8 months and just started experiencing this two days ago. The battery life used to last 4 days but now it's barely lasting a day. My Fitbit is only a year and a month old. Pretty disappointing.

The support team has answered me. Since one year warranty has already been completed, the only solution is to replace(buy) it with a new one. Very disappointed with fitbit, very bad hardware. I will look for another brand.

Lucky for you 😉

fitbit ionic losing battery life in less than a day after just a year of usage!

i hope it is not because fitbit is providing lousy battery so that they can get customers to change their trackers every year or so..

did a factory reset, did not install any apps or music but still it is not working!

deeply disappointed... should have gotten an apple watch instead

Ended up here because I was googling for battery replacements.  My ionic is dying super quick now.  Super disappointing considering that it's not that old. I've had to turn off functionality just to keep it alive two days.  I'm guessing its time to start looking elsewhere for a fitness watch.
