Just called Cust Serv this morning to fix my Ionic-works fine now. Call 877-623-4997. My app was telling me my watch battery was dead and it didn’t seem to be charging. Cara with customer service helped me do a hard reset on my watch and it was fixed; battery was actually at 100%, but needed an update. Guess I let the battery die while updating or something like that. Came back to life, had to set up all over again but it’s working and I’m happy. 😃

@oceansrunner Welcome to the Fitbit family! I'm glad to read it has worked. Thanks for trying those steps. I don't have any information about why this happened to your device, but I'm glad you are back on track.
@HelenLJ Fitbit Community is a free service. Please go to the top of this thread and click the gear icon on the right side. Then, click "unsubscribe" to stop receiving notification from this thread.
@Eima It's great to see you in the Fitbit forums! Currently, there are no Fitbit repair centers. However, this can be resolved by performing a restart on your watch. Also, if you haven't done so already, update Ionic to its latest firmware version. Please feel free to try that out. @Kinglangdon63 Try those steps if you haven't done so as well.
@tamrenae Welcome to the forums! Thanks for contacting customer support. I'm really glad to read you are back on track now. Thanks for sharing the steps you did to sort this out.

No such luck I bought my first Ionc in 2017 syncing issues then 2 months out it died excatly like yours. So went to Best buy and got a new one since I bought the two year plan. This one was awesome no syncing promblems what so ever. Then last week the time went off by 5 mintues and then again on Saturday by half an hour trying to run my soccer classes proved difficult at least. Full battery on both occasions. I am right now at the 2 month mark and now and it is yet again completely dead. Full battery so done with this watch. I still have the coverage at Best buy but will see if I can upgrade to the versa this time. No recall and it is a year later

Yes, charging then immediately discharging was one of the problems I experienced. Fitbit finally agreed to replace my Ionic, although to "prove" mine old unit wasn't working involved taking a video. It was a hassle but my replacement unit has worked fine the past 7 months. Fingers crossed...
