I can understand that. I had to send back both my and my wife's Ionics. My replacement has been trouble free for several months. However, if the Apple Watch had a decent charge life I move to it in a minute. I like getting 4 days from the Ionic.

This didn't work for me. My Ionic died last night due to low battery. I plugged it in before bed, as I always do. It flashed the 0% battery, so I assumed it would charge. Woke up this morning to a black screen that won't change no matter what amount of buttons I press, what order and how long I press them for. I've tried two different wall chargers, using my laptop USB, and cleaning the charging contacts. I've researched and troubleshooted online, but nothing is working. I've had for 2 years, so certainly out of warranty. I certainly don't want FitBit to just tell me it's dead and offer me a discount. I've seen issues like this in the forum dating back to 2017. You can't tell me such an expensive piece of equipment would just die from one day to the next with no prompting and no difference in use. I have tried hard and soft resets and factory resets. No lights, symbols, anything, on the face except a black screen. HELP!

The same thing basically happened to me about a year and a half ago. My theory is that the early Ionics were really buggy duds. After too much trouble Fitbit replaced my Ionic and it has been trouble free for more than a year. My wife's Versa has been trouble free from the get go. I wish I could offer you encouragement but I think the Ionic was an initially bad product that they have improved due to many customer complaints. Maybe you will get lucky if they agree to replace yours; don't know if they offer that any longer.

I charged my Ionic last night and wore it to bed. When I went to check the time this morningI got nothing on the screen. The green lights aren’t on the back either. I can’t get it to turn on at all. I have tried resetting it and plugging it into charge and I get nothing.

Well, guess what, the replacement only lasted a few months. I guess the business model is that you spend about $230 a year for a watch. What a deal. You do the required firmware upgrade with a full battery, and it breaks it. I would be hard-pressed to not believe that this is not an approved "function" since I've worked in electronics and computers including development since '81. "Step right up folks, let us sell you a "new" replacement for the one we just broke." No wonder Fitbit's stock has been taking a hit.

My Ionic completely died last week . All Fitbit is offering is to give me 25% off another Ionic that will just do the same thing in a year or 2. These are like the xbox ring of death. Built for a year. Then they die

My husband's fitbit would also die and not turn on even after trying multiple power sources and cleaning the back. The only thing that worked was buying a charger stand from Amazon. I guess the main problem with the Ionic is the battery connection. I can definitely see why though, considering the wimpy magnetic charge.
