My ionic died this morning. I've had it on the charger for 6 hours, switched outlets and chargers and it will not power on. I've tried the factory reset, I've tried all three buttons, I've tried to sync it, I've tried the left and bottom button, I've cleaned the sensors, absolutely nothing works. I don't think the battery was even low enough for it to just die. I just bought 10 bands for this thing last week and now I can't even use it bc it won't turn on. I haven't even had it a year yet.

Same for my Ionic. Battery was completely dead and let it charge several hours to 100%
I used it one day and shutdown. Next day it wouldn't do anything.
Looks completely bricked.
Tried 3 outlets plus my laptop
Cleaned contacts 3 times
Tried two-button reset multiple times
Tried three-button reset multiple times
No solutions on the forum that I have found. Anyone have any luck once the Ionic hits this stage?

Same here! Long story short I struggled with the known ionic syncing issues for two days. After trying everything suggested by the forums and as a last and final resort I went for the factory reset. The phone was at 95% charge and now it will not turn on again. Extremely disappointing for such an expensive watch that is less than 9 months old. How does one go about obtaining a replacement?

I've given up in fitbit now. I can't be spending almost £300 a year on a watch for it to have constant issues. Just ordered the HUAWEI GT2 for half the price. Never wanted to move away from Fitbit but they just don't have lasting power.

Hello, have you managed to fix this issue or is it still on going as I've had the same issue with my Iconic.

Nope no fix as yet. I've tried everything. Hard reset soft reset turn it off and on although I have no screen just a back light. Occasionally I get the fitbit symbol pop up. Followed all of the fixed from customer care. They said it was at 65% last night so no idea how my battery went to 0% (last thing I saw on the screen) it won't even react to a charge tried different chargers and ports. I've ordered a huawei now as I'm fed up of my fitbits dying im sad as I loved my ionic

Report the issue via twitter and they should get back to you. Strange that 6 of us all had this happen last night!/yesterday

Mine has been plugged into thr charger for 3 hours now and I'm not getting any response from it. Its so annoying as I love my ionic too and I think I've had just over 2 years so won't be getting anything for it from the customer services. I'm still hopeful as my app says the battery died. Hope you have better joy with huawei.
Take care

I'm having the same issue with my Ionic. It synced yesterday at 0730 with over 70% battery life. Next thing I see is a blank screen. Back light did come on but since trying hard reset, ug in, clean and etc. all that I can get while holding the back and bottom button is an occasional back light flash then... Nothing.

After over half an hour on the phone and in chats with FitBit, they will do nothing other than offer a 25% discount on a new watch since "the device is no longer under warranty" even though it is their update that caused the damage. Looks like FitBit just lost a couple customers.

https://www.fitbit.com/us/legal/returns-and-warranty 2 years for factory new, 90 days otherwise. Ours worked perfectly until I updated it and it appears the update turned my watch into a paperweight. They will not replace or repair if it is out of warranty, even if they break it.

Luckily my fitbit has come back on, it was on charge for few hours and then inwas pressing and holding all the buttons and it just turned itself on. They normally offer 2 years warranty and replace the product without any issue as my seal broke and water got inside, I messaged customer services and sent them a picture and within a week a new unit had arrived.
