How to clear all notifications?

Is the only way to clear all notifications to scroll all the way down to the bottom of notifications? If I haven't done this in a while it can take quite some time, there has to be a faster way. Any help here?

Thank you for sending your screen shot @debgorden! I investigated about your issue and that is an expected behavior. There is no way to delete these notifications from inside of the Fitbit app. Fitbit stopped sending these types of notifications in Jume.

Welcome to the forums @KatB617. Which issue are you experiencing?

If there is no way to delete them in the app, how are your IT people going to get rid of them for us!

Thank you for getting back to us @debgorden@DaveBC and @2pjb! To clarify my previous response, notifications that Fitbit no longer send are step based notifications.

@DaveBC, as I mentioned before, there is no way to delete these notifications from inside of the Fitbit app.

@2pjb, you're welcome.

So we just have to tolerate all these old notifications clogging up our phones? I f we can't do it, you should...

Thank you for your question @DaveBC. You could try deleting your device from the Fitbit App and deleting the App and start over, following the instructions from help article How do I set up my Fitbit device? setting it up as a replacement device.

Doesn't work.. The old notifications must be held in my central  account and re-synced when app is re-installed and Charge 2 paired with iPhone.. Or they are on the charge 2 tracker itself.. YOU have to sort it out.. (IT dept)

What DaveBC said. I appreciate that you're working to resolve the issue, but my notifications on my Iphone also stopped in June, the reset doesn't work, so now when my phone gets a message that says, "Fitbit has sent you a notification", and when I click to open, enter my passcode, then it says I have no notifications. So, we just can't receive any notifications from Fitbit until the problem is fixed.

@FranTX Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for sharing the details about the experience you are having with in app notifications from Fitbit.

You can try going to the account icon on the Fitbit app and then tapping Notifications. Toggle off the notifications and sync. Then toggle them back on and sync. You should still receive some notifications from Fitbit.

Keep me posted!

Thanks. Went to the account icon, tapped Notifications, and toggled them off. Didn't see any listing that said, "Sync" anywhere in the menus. Toggled Notifications back on, and still, my last notification is from last June.

@1stwave Welcome to the Fitbit forums and thanks for your reply @FranTX. Thanks for checking and trying the above steps.

Please check @AndreaFitbit's posts above. This is a Fitbit expected behavior and it is not possible to delete those notifications.

Thanks for your patience on this.

Obviously it is POSSIBLE to do this, just not by users.. We have to live with it..

I am having exactly the same problem.  I can swipe email to the right and they disappear but as soon as I exit and then reenter, they r still there.

Also I did find the Clear all tab by swiping downward not up..   it located at the top.  But . The emails still return.

They're not going to fix it. I'm not going to buy any more of their products.

My notifications go back to Sept 2017. Strange that there is no solution in this world of technology and the cost of these devices☹️

I have been in contact with Fitbit 4 times now since Christmas Day. They
r now telling me it's my phone. Moto E4. Th
at the Fitbit doesn't sound well with it.

What I have learned...trial and error.... The notifications work fine until
I turn my phone off. Then, even after turning my phone back on, they will
not clear and I don't receive all like them. I have to reboot Fitbit
after each time I turn my phone on, to have the notifications work
properly. Once I've done that they work until the next time I turn my
phone off.

So, it seems to me this is a Fitbit issue. Fortunately it was purchased at
Costco so we can easily return if we decide to do so.
Fitbit has made it clear they intend to do nothing about the problem.
