Just changed my original Ionic for the Adidas edition.
It's sets up as normal and works fine.........for about an hour.
It's now not syncing with my phone/,app . My bluBlueto shows its connected but the app won't sync and tells me there is s Bluetooth issue .I e done everything that's been suggested and still no joy. Can I assume that this is a firmware issue ? I did update to the latest one ?

For some time the apps are not syncing anymore at all. Even after multiple resets and reconnecting the watch to Bluetooth and the app. (Addidas edition). It keeps on trying to install apps. What to do?

Hey everyone!
Thanks for the troubleshoot that you've tried as well for the details that each of you have mentioned. I would like you to confirm that you have a supported device, this will make the syncing smoother because these type of mobile devices haven been fully tested by Fitbit and they appear on this list.
If you have a supported device and you're still having syncing issues, try the following steps on this article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi
Thanks alot for your reply. However, if my device is not shown in the list does it mean I shouldn't buy this watch. Even though that my watch was functioning perfectly before.
Please advise.

I have the same issue with laptop using Windows 10 i.e. syncing problems . Blue tooth appears to be the problem. So an expensive bit off kit that isn't able to run on Win10. I've installed/reinstalled the app, have latest firm ware (which I suspect may be the cause of the problem), played all the usual games with 'Settings/Bluetooth' but it still doesn't "plug and play".

Hello ALL and Welcome.. So as an Ionic Owner who also has Windows 10 and the Apple iPhone 5S, I can appreciate your frustration. However, once you realize what may be causing your Bluetooth issues, it may clear up. IF you want to connect to your phone (and it won't), check Windows 10 Quick Actions (Bottom Right Corner) and see if your Ionic is connected to your PC's Bluetooth. If it is, turn off your PC's Bluetooth (temporarily) and NOW your Ionic should sync with your phone without any problems. If your trying to connect to the Fitbit App on your PC and cannot, simply close the Fitbit App on your phone and than make sure the Bluetooth is turned on for your PC. Than open the PC's FitBit App and you should be able to sync with no issues. KEY thing to remember, the Ionic can ONLY sync to one Bluetooth device at a time (at least as far as I can determine). This has SOLVED my connection problems and will hopefully solve yours! Please post back and let me know. Thanks and Keep on STEPPING!

Thanks. I pretty sure, as you say the Iconic can't pair/sync to more than one device at a time. Your suggestion hasn't solved my problem syncing to Windows 10 laptop (works fine with my Moto G smartphone).
The nearest I have got is: it will start to sync (then stops/fails to finish most times) by following these steps (posted here in case it helps someone else) - Windows 10 settings/devices/select Iconic under 'Other devices' and 'Remove Device' - Launch Fitbit app - pop up screen appears 'Pair device?'- select allow Some times it fails first time try again - message 'connection succeeded'. Click on Iconic image then pop up box to force sync. Sync starts, in my case it fails half way through nine times out of 10.
Alternative work round - that works every time is to use dongle that came with my Surge. See under Advanced settings - Fitbit Connect Classic Mode.

Hello @PRM1234, so to clarify, your having Bluetooth connection issues with Windows 10 and your Ionic? If so, I may be able to offer some thoughts. But it seems you already have a solid work around. Anyway, let me know and Keep on STEPPING!

Appreciate the offer - thanks, but at present method 1 appears to work on second or third attempt. method 2 - using old Surge dongle works every time. Happy Sprinting!

Hi
Any idea on how to sync my Iconic adidas edition with my phone Xiaomi mi note 2.
Please advice as I tried everything and still nothing can solve this. By the way it was working perfectly in the beginning until the update happened.

I also experience problems synching the Fitbit Ionic Adidas. I continually (every couple of days) have to reset everything and set up the Ionic again. Very frustrating. I am dissatisfied with this product.

To expand on my previous post, I am using an iPhone7 Plus. One thing I have observed, which may or may not be helpful, is that the Ionic appears to stop synching (for hours sometimes, e.g. overnight), and then refuses to synch when I try to manually use 'synch now', but then - after I've given up in disgust with wasting yet more time on it - sometime later (e.g. 15 minutes or so) it has connected and synched again. No idea what is causing this, but it remains frustrating and somewhat mysterious.

Hello @DickyDONUT and welcome. This sounds as if you are having a "Bluetooth" issue. This is from a reply I posted on this thread earlier, that may help explain what is happening: As an Ionic Owner who also has Windows 10 and the Apple iPhone 5S, I can appreciate your frustration. However, once you realize what may be causing your Bluetooth issues, it may clear up.
