Re: Ionic - Battery - Android - Cannot Get Fitbit to turn on or charge.

Tried Contact Fitbit as you can see my case file number below.

This was my son's watch I had passed down to him and it already broke after approximately 1 and 1/2 years. He was disappointed and the solution from FitBit was buy another watch and we will give you a discount. No offer to fix it or anything we paid over $300 dollars for this watch and it is already broken. The solution in my mind was not acceptable and can't justify buying a new watch at a discount when it will just break when it out of warranty. I will not buy Fitbit again and my try Garmin and my son's disappointment with Fitbit.

No repair centers I suppose when out of warranty which is weird.

Thanks

@tjmah A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for taking the time to post your experience with our Support team.

I see where you're coming from. Each case is reviewed individually and the option provided is based in the Fitbit Warranty. If you have any questions about the option you were given, please reply to the case that you have.

Fitbit doesn't have any repair centers, however, before moving on to your replacement options, we always offer to troubleshoot this with you.

I'll be around if you have any additional question.

Sorry, SilviaFitbit and thanks for reaching out.
I have already dealt with customer service and they offered me a discount
on another watch. I think it was 40% off the mulberry Ionic coloured Fitbit
or 25% off all other watches. I did check the stores and they were clearing
out that Mullberry Ionic coloured watch at the same price. I was hoping
there was something else they could do but they said that what they could
offer since it was out of warranty. I think when the issue
occurred originally it was just out of warranty by 3-4 months. I expected a
higher quality product for the price I paid but it seems it failed
prematurely and was a disappointment that they cannot repair or replace it
since it costed over $300 dollars. I thought I'd give Fitbit a chance and
was disappointed at the lack of support and normally I wear the Garmin
Vivoactive.

Thanks for reaching out though
