My Ionic has suddenly stopped accepting a code to unlock it and now asks me to unlock with my phone. How do I do this?

After ten wrong PIN codes it locks the device and you need to use the app to reset the code. Instructions are in this help file: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2250/

To sum it up. Open the Fitbit app. Go to the ionic settings. Tap device lock. Choose a new pin code.
Do not remove ionic from your app or Fitbit account.

@Endosteve is your ionic still connected to your Fitbit account?
I have no idea what your referring to with "The login to my ionic"? I've never heard or seen a login to a Fitbit device.
You want to reset the pin on your ionic From your ionic settings
Enter your phones unlock code
Tap change pin
