Notifications and sleep reminders

Not receiving step goal notifications or wind down reminders. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this?  I have spent 2 hours each the last 2 days chatting with Fitbit support. After day one I had a third issue after doing all the steps they had me try and that was my Fitbit ionic wouldn’t pair with my phone. The pairing issue has been resolved after day 2 of chatting with them but still not receiving step goal notifications or bedtime reminders. Suggestions?  I have already factory reset and deleted app about 4 times so that will not resolve the issue. Open to other suggestions??

Are you not receiving sleep reminders on the Ionic or on your iPhone?

I ask, as the Ionic will not receive sleep reminders:

On my ionic but I do believe that I did receive them a couple months back. So was there a change?

I've never been able to get a sleep reminder on my Ionic. I thought it's always been this way, but I didn't put much effort into it after initially setting up my Ionic back in April.
