as i've understood it, it's been a server-side problem. ideally, restarting the watch and smartphone should kill any stray connection attempts and lead do a successfull sync.
i couldn't access watchfaces through the app at all, now it works as expected.
Best AnswerHi, I was able to get my ionic up and going yesterday, fitbit must've fixed the issue. loads of interesting clock faces to choose from.

Best AnswerI'm sure it's an update, I think it was a fitbit technical issue. I just gave up on mine the other night and the next morning it seemed to work ok. I did uninstall the app and reinstall it then go through the sync process again.
Best AnswerDon’t have to restart. My watch shuts off when the battery dies because I don’t get any notifications when the battery gets low
Best AnswerI can now inly view 1 app... clock faces work now though.
Best AnswerHow's your app now, mine is working fine since this morning
Fitbit are now saying this is resolved, but I am still having the same major issues; can’t sync or download stats despite app being ‘connected’ to my ionic

Best AnswerMatt is this fixed? or on the way? I can't not tell by post. I have been trying to sync for several weeks and I have been on live chat twice no fix. Tech advised to do a hard reset of watch. I am stating now if I have to do a hard reset and loose all my runs I will be done with Fitbit and go to a new device and company. I bought my ionic in November for one reason with one goal to train and to run my biggest race yet which was the past weekend 10k and half marathon back to back. If I loose that date I will be done with Fitbit. Is the ionic sync fixed yet?
