Trouble Syncing Ionic with Strava

Hi, up until today my iconic has been syncing with Strava, now it’s stopped. I’ve logged out of both apps, checked it’s authorised and refreshed.

I’ve been using Ionic to track rides and they get uploaded to Strava all the time. Now on a really big ride I traveled to, it just didn’t work. Now the ride is lost. It shows up in Fitbit app, but won’t go to Strava?! Everything shows as connected but nothing happening. Really upset about this, I don’t feel I can rely on using the Fitbit to track rides now.

Same with me. May 5, all was working, since May 6, no sync. Really annoying.

Hello. I was just about to post about the same thing. I have had the same issue also. It worked for my Park Run on Saturday (5th) and then it didn't work yesterday or today....!!

I'm having the same problem, went away this past weekend, did a crazy forest run and now it's lost, can't view it on Strava as it didn't push the info, have also been experiencing a lot of syncing issues.

The syncing issues are probably a separate problem but for the Strava issues there's nothing we can do at the moment but keep an eye open on the main thread for news.

@ElzaneK rather than hijack this thread it may be better to start a new thread for your syncing issues so that it gets the right attention.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, a run each day showed up, but yesterday 5/7/2018 I had a walk not show up, and this morning a hour on the treadmill did not show up....

@Erayeray sounds like you have been affected by the same bug. It's not clear whether it's a fitbit or strava issue so keep an eye on that thread for news.

In the past when I would use Ionic to record a run, then synced Ionic with my iphone, the run would immediately appear in Stava and My Fitness Pal an Health, and others. Starting yesterday these updates stopped working. Today, I synced an Ionic run with the iphone app over 3 hours ago and Stava and My Fitness Pal don't show it. This clearly appears to be a problem of the Ionic app not communicating the exercise to the other apps like it did so seamlessly last week.

Is anybody been able to resolve the fitbit to strava syncing issue. Strava saying it has been resolved but mine still will not sync...

That's still a work in progress obviously, check out this link following the Strava+Fitbit problems.

According to the main thread on this issue they issued a fix but it seems not to have fixed it for everyone. Keep an eye on the main thread for updates:
