Yesterday my Fitbit Ionic was successfully updated to the latest Firmware version 27.71.6.19. I tried to download and install the new SpO2 Signature pulse ox watch face. It will not download and install. In my Fitbit phone app under Clocks>My Ionic, I have two previously downloaded watch faces plus the SpO2 watch face is shown with a grey arrow pointing down indicating to download. When I tap the watch face it goes to the download page and appears to be trying to download but the progress indicator keeps going left to right for a long time but it will not download the clock face. What's wrong here?

Well stated!!! Exact same issue here. Have tried for 2 days to install. Rebooted watch and phone....still no success.

it took about 3 days for the last update to install, I'm just on day 2 waiting for the SpO2 Signature to install. maybe tomorrow.

Go to your settings and change your state to Canada then go to your clock face and do the sp02 then it'll take it but you can't change it back into the United States because we still haven't get it but if you put it to Canada you'll get it

OK. I'll give that a try. Do you know when the US Fitbit customers will have access directly without the workaround? Many thanks!

No I don't know sorry but I will say if you put it back to the United States then you won't have the sp02

i spoke with fitbit support and as usual they dont have answers. the tech support person said the new spo2 clock face is only available to some ionic users not all. other will need to wait until the next update and as expected they dont know when that will be. so unless you are a select ionic user you will continue your wait. Ive been waiting 2 years now . Great job @Fitbit

Hi everyone!
Thanks for the details mentioned about the SpO2 clock face that you would like to install in your Fitbit Ionic. Your interest in this is truly appreciated.
As mentioned by our Support team, this clock face is available to all users however, it could be downloaded is certain regions.
If it can't be found in the Fitbit App Gallery, then it means that it's not available in your country. It's not recommended to change your country of residency to another one because when you'll try to install it, it won't finish the process. Learn more about it by checking this article.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Some people seem to be having issues with the signature clock face and excessive battery drain. Usually, I have 5-6 days battery time with my Ionic; with the signature clock face installed, it has dropped to a little over 2 days. While it's a nice looking face, I don't know that it's worth the battery drain to have it at this time. Hopefully, this is something that Fitbit can rectify before they fully release it.

Like quite a few people have already said here, the SPO2 Signature clock face shows as available for download, but it does not install. I have tried repeatedly, and it won't complete the download. "Unable to Install. Install failed, please try again later."

Hi everyone! Thank you for getting in touch about this.
The SpO2 Signature clock face is only available in certain countries at this time. If you don’t see it in the Clock Face Gallery, it’s not available in your region.
If you're experiencing issues installing it, please make sure that you're downloading it directly from the Fitbit App Gallery and searching it with the name of SpO2 Signature clock face. Also, please double check that your Fitbit watch is updated and you have installed the latest app version.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

i agree with the battery drain , mine was at 64% when i went to bed woke up and my battery is at 22%. wheres the spo2 graph like the heart rate. one number isnt worth the battery kill
